MOGA Pivot

Galaxy S7 keeps telling me this app is crashing maybe 15 to 30 times a day, installing malware, adware & creating other issues on my phone. Yet this app is required for your controller to work. I don't know what the company that requires this app to work with your controller is trying to pull but this needs to be pulled off the market if it's going to cause these kinds of problems.

Moga Pocket is not supported by Lollipop or later, why can I still buy it? The place I got them from doesn't accept electronics returns. Since it is not labeled as limited capabilities, I bought two. The sad part is, now I want to play these games with a controller. Bet your ass I won't buy this brand.

70% of the time your phone will not be able to connect to the moga that you have and it's just painful waiting almost an hour for It not to connect. Can you moga people fix the connectivity issues?

It doesn't work. Sure you can sync it up to your phone and then waste a half hour downloading games that are 750mb but don't expect to be able to play them! Or even open them! Save your money, it doesn't work.

Kind of confused. I downloaded the app and set it up and everything, but all I see are games that are already in the play Store. It was supposed to have pac man with it too but I can't find it.. Why buy this just to play games I can already play in the play Store? I know there's more but I can't figure this thing out.

Moga controllers aren't compatible with lollipop 5.1.1 so don't waste your money. I have been asking Moga to make a patch for months now, but nothing yet. There are a lot of expensive games I have purchased that I can no longer play because my Moga no longer works.UPDATE: Still doesn't work even after the patch. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+

This app just isn't that great. I would use it a lot more if it actually supported games that a lot of us play, like bleach brave souls or dragon ball z dokkan battle, but the controller does work well. Until they support more games, I'm keeping my review at two stars

No game I try works with A mode. Some work with B mode but need setup manually. This robs the controller of a significant amount of its value. Sounds like something that should be sorted in an update.

Recently my device updated to Marshmallow, and since then, pivot crashes whenever the Bluetooth is turned on. If it is off, there's no problem, the app works just fine. However the point of the controller is connecting via Bluetooth. And I can't connect it at all because the sync app crashes due to the Bluetooth... So... help?

The controller connected, works on the moga app, but doesn't work on the games. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the moga app, and the games that did work with the controller before something happened, and put brand new batteries in the controller. I also disconnected the controller and reconnected, unpaired and paired, but still only works with moga app, not the games like dead trigger, and Tiki Kart 3D.

Moga games don't even work with controller. Have tried two Moga power pro and three different phones and several supposed Moga approved games. What a total waste of my money and my time.

Bought the controller just for the pac man game that said come with it. Pac Man was not even on the site...site can run a minute before crashes. Useless and super disappointed

I'm running Android 7.1.2, and the problem with the controller is the exact same problem when lollipop came out, it doesn't support the games in A mode. This app needs to be updated to work with Nougat

About 70% of the games listed as moga compatible aren't. I don't know if they've been patched out or what but it simply won't work. When you find a game that does work it's awesome but it's an absolute crapshoot.

I'm giving this app 1 star because their controller the Moga Pocket does not want to work with either GTA III or GTA VC on my Samsung S7 Nougat. Those two games are the reasons I bought a controller in the first place and chose Moga. I will gladly change my rating to a perfect score when those issues are addressed.

Sad to say I should have read the reviews of the APP before buying the CONTROLLER, who knew. Moga had been rated one of the best controllers for Android, yet for whatever reason they stopped supporting it. As a result, none of the games they claim work with Moga are supported. Blitz Brigade and Nova 3 among many others are supposed to be Moga compatible but are not. Don't waste your money with this company.

Due to the fact that games on the moga app wouldn't work, it's great to know that I can use it for my new phone now, there's still some bugs but all I gotta do to avoid them is either reset the app or my phone. Just keep it up so that everyone can enjoy the moga, not just me. Score 3/5 stars, just fix the incompatibility from other games and it'll improve

Pro Power... works great for games that allow controllers but none of the game i have in pivot work. Tried nova and ravensword with no success, so im not buyin anymore till it gets fixed. Other then the pivot app games not working, the other (outside) games ive used it on work great and is the best controller ive used... specifically the precision with the sticks.

If I were able to use my new moga pro 2 controller with my galaxy j7 I would be able to more accurately rate this app, however that isnt the case. I want to enjoy this controller but I cannot. My phone says on my pivot app that its synced but its not recognizing any of my inputs in minecraft pocket edition or grand theft auto vice city. Will update review if my issue can be resolved.

I can't use any of the games that I bought for the moga power A controller. Max Payne let's me use every button except to shoot. Everything else just simply doesn't even input. I use the app first, sync my controller and phone successfully. I can use the controller to move around the app just fine. But when it comes to playing. Nothing. I might as well just throw it away. Devs. Please help! Five stars if me controller actually works to play games!

I Don't Know What To Think. I Purchased Two Different Types Of These Controllers & Neither One Of Them Work. The Phones Are More Then Powerful Enough, To Handle Them & The Android OS Versions, Are 6 & 7. But No Luck At All! I Will Update My Review, If These Controllers Ever Begin To Work.

Hello I have been very satisfied with the app & controller except for ONE important thing! Yes when you initially open the app it "says it updates the game library" but I have found PLENTY of games that support MOGA controllers that are NOT listed! I have to literally comb thru games and read the game description to find out if its supported or not; rather than simply going to the MOGA app itself and seeing if the game is listed or not. Pease try to resolve this matter, it would be greatly appreciated.Thanx

1-Works pretty good with games in B mode. Can't get much to work with A mode. 2-Battery shows 25% and phone shuts off. (Note 4) I removed a few apps I downloaded on the same day when my phone started having battery and shut down issues. Phone worked fine after removal of apps. I redownloaded this app today (1 month later) and my phone turned off in the middle of a call at 28% so I found the culprit. The moga pivot app. Phone will not turn on even though it shows 20% when plugged in until it reaches 25%. Removed this app and have had no issues since. Moga figure this out with an update and I will gladly reinstall this app.

And you fail to list the app 38MB storage size in your description. Changed from 1 to 5 stars due to the controller does work SEAMLESSLY with the Galaxy S7 Black 32gb 6.0.1 alone or with the Samsung Gear VR Oculus app suite . Really flexible setup supporting BT HID profile. And the Moga "pro power" controllers ability to charge my phone during gaming is an excellent idea.

I bought this controller to play My Nova 2 and 3 shooting games and asphalt games and Rio (I can't remember the name but it's like GTA). None of those games have controller support any more but the games are listed there to use in "A mode". Now the sonic 1 and 2..sonic cd and sonic 4 episode 1 and 2 worked fine. I also notice a slight lag in "A mode" when playing mt sonic games. As for emulators, the snes and Playstation works fine in "B Mode". I don't notice any lag when playing with the emulators.

Bought the Moga Power Pro controller specifically to play NOVA 3 which is supposed to be a supported game. App recognizes it but the game doesn't work with the controller in Mode A. I have Android 5.0 which the app specifically says it's been updated for. I got in touch with customer support and they said they know about it and are working on a fix. When it's fixed you'll get 5 stars.

There are some of the games that you have completely removed. Before, Asphalt 8 used to be there and now it's not there. Even GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience was also there and now it's not there. Some of the games which are available, I downloaded Dead Trigger and it never worked with my MOGA Pocket. It has also stopped pairing with my Sony Xperia Z3 Dual. Please fix, I beg :( :(

Not sure yet if it's the controller or the emulator I'm using but there's about a quarter second lag on the input. Also, the emulator works fine without the controller but with it there becomes a split second glitch in most games. Maybe because 3rd party emulator? Using Moga Power Pro with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and SNES9X EX+ emulator. Pleaee help?

Please do not waste your time buying a product from Moga. The quality of the controllers are deceiving. When you have a product dependent on driver software, the driver software has to be updated occasionally or the product will not work properly despite the build quality of the hardware. Moga has successfully pitched a good looking paperweight thanks to their inability to have any driver support. Just move on. Bye Felicia!

Received this as a gift a couple years ago, really enjoyed it then. Things kept going dowhill though.....now I can not for the life of me figure out why on earth they need location and other permissions. This is a controller app. No longer use nor recommend as the permissions seem more than needed.

Do NOT buy any of their controllers until they fix their software incompatibility issues. I have not been able to play any games since the Kit Kat operating system. They do not seem to care anymore about updating their application. So disappointing, I guess they will go out of business and I'll take my money elsewhere as I won't be buying another product from this company!!

This controller has never worked once for me. Pairs fine, but for the longest time the app didn't recognize the supported games I had installed already on my phone. Recently checked it after a few months, and they show up in the app now. Problem is none of my games recognize I am trying to use a controller, even when starting thru the app. Waste of money and time.

The app still does not allow the controller to work. I am loading games from within pivot with no luck. I am on A as I tried with HID but app said to go back to A. Hero power Controller is synced and is tested with a different app to confirm working. I'll keep testing and hopefully will be able to get it to work. Update: tried 7 games, only 1 worked but controls were wrong. Please fix and ill give 5 stars.

In 'a' mode the controller won't work with games like GTA:San Andreas, vice city. The controls will work inside the pivot app, I'm able to navigate within the app like scrolling and selecting games/options but not with any games outside the app.

Software recognizes and pairs the controller. After that it's all down hill. Another world crashes when controller is hooked up. Samurai showdown 2 does not recognize controller. Gaming library is outdated. Customer service never responds to you. Do not buy it! Horrible!

I got super mad at it whenever I got it for my b-day because it would only run on the moga pivot app. So I put it in my drawer. Then last month I decided to find it and see if I could get it working. Then once a game that I wanted downloaded I went to the app and went to the shop and opened it up it worked! I was so happy!!!

Need just a driver only, not some 30mb+ app with unwanted extra appstore crap taking up phone storage. Gee. Too bad the Moga Universal driver app don't work with Moga Pro 2 gamepad becos I would use it instead of this memory hogging app.

I have the Moga pocket. Worked great for shadowgun and San Andreas until my kindle updated the o.s now it seems to be obsolete. The controller connects to the app and functions within the Moga app but won't work with the games. Pointless. Sent Moga an email, no reply yet. Looking at these comments I won't hold my breath waiting on support. Update: I'm reducing my rating to one star and plan on writing a similar review on amazon so nobody else wastes their $ on this garbage. Still no reply from moga support.

I've had a Moga Power Pro on this software on a Galaxy S4, S5 and S7 Active. That's Android 4.3, 4.4.2, and 6.0.1. I've only ever seen this work in Shadowgun's multiplayer component. This only worked if you downloaded it from within the app. I've tried it in other games, such as Dungeon Hunter 4 and 5 (4 shows up in the app) and a Fork Lift simulator that was also in the app's list of compatible games. The controller works in none of these. My controller is nothing more than a glorified phone charger
