BCGE Mobile Netbanking for Android
I constantly get locked out when using the app, which requires me to re-register the app using online banking on my desktop. It is extremely frustrating, and essentially means you cannot trust this app will work without a laptop near by.
The most annying banking app I have ever used.
Fingerprint doesn't work
Abusive permissions, like some other reviewer pointed out. Wtf do you want my contacts or device history for?
Why do you need access to my contacts? Or to device history? You're a banking app.
Honestly considering switching banks solely because of this app. I do all of my banking electronically however with this app everything takes triple the amount of time due to the fact that it logs me out every time I try to view a different transaction and between every tiny action within the app. But that's not the worst bit, it can takes upwards of a week for any transactions I've made to show and be deducted from my bank total. This means I constantly need to check atms making the app redundant anyway.
Camera mirrored, scan won't work, and half of bills have to be paid from the website, horrible app.
Why needs access to device history? Not chill.
Even just after a screen timeout, you have to login again.
This is the by far worst online banking application I have ever used. It is looking for a reason to log you out. Interface is not clear. There is almost nothing you can do.

It's a bit frustrating that it will tell you some bills can't be paid by scanning them only after you filled out all the additional data it wanted. Just let us know as soon as we scan them if there is no way to make everything payable.

If it's not fixable so that all bills can't be payed by scanning them, say so right after scanning. - Logs you out as soon as you switch out of the app... Sometimes I need to copy some data in and out of the app, so combined with no fingerprint for auth, it's very annoying. - To make above worse, data in the app is not selectable, disallows screenshots and disallows split screen. - OTP solution for netbanking is in a different app. - Changing a phone is an entire chore, which includes talking to support. All of the above are either issue or contious choices. Combined so annoying that I will now change my bank to one that has a better mobile solution.
