Garden Time (Trial) for Android
About the frost dates, I live in a 2 seasons country ..rainy and sunny. Confused with the frost date setting(no zone 11b?) Database need improvement, what about cactus? Or um Carnivore plants? :) love this app so far, would give 5 stars for improvement of plants database.
Need access to FAQ, would like to add missing plants, is there a way to do this?
Works very well for me
Helps me plan so much better to gain advantage in my zone 4 garden. Perfect.
Useful for gardening journaling. Also love that the developer is so responsive to user suggestions! Thanks and good job!
Would like a square foot box layout.
Started with the trial version but upgraded quickly. It is the perfect tool to help plan and track the progress of my garden. Developer is extremely receptive to suggestions and has been quick to address the few issues I have had. Come on spring time :-)
Love the app. Want more plants
So far LOVING this app! I'm a first time gardener. Planting dates and harvesting dates are crucial for me in helping me to understand and learn to do better when planting my fall garden and for my spring garden next year. I'll update when harvest time comes along as to how accurate and helpful the application was then. If it works as great as it has initially, I'll be purchasing the deluxe!
This is a basic smiple app that I find useful keeping track and planning my garden, would like a bigger data base, but its great I can add to the data. This is excellent app, anyone starting out or even season gardner will find this app useful
Would like a square foot box layout.
Would love to see much larger data base like watermelons instead of melons, cherry tomatoes etc. Chili Peppers instead of Bellpepper category etc. Option to add pic is a must. A massive database and pics option would put me on a 5 star.
Good details
Worth the bucks
So US-centric that it lacks obvious features: Celsius? (I have little idea what Fahrenheit temperatures mean) Hardiness zones? (London is zone 9 yet last frosts can sometimes happen in June). The plant database is also a bit short, I've see other apps listing my more unusual crops such as asparagus peas, yacon, oca, Physalis or Tetragonia, I'd love to see them here too. I'll have enough manual entries to make as it is... Otherwise I have to agree, this may be the best gardening app yet. Reminders in particular will be very useful. I wished it could also give you frost alerts based on the forecast for your location but I haven't seen that anywhere yet. Keep up the good job!
best garden app i have found!
Very nice but how do I print? Would love to add pictures. Would love lonks to other thing like tree, scrub and flower if not the ability to add the link to information myself. Otherwise this is the best I have e er seen. I add fertilizer, pruning and other stuff in the To Do 2.
I have searched and searched, tried and tried, installed, uninstalled many other gardening apps....but this one has remained a constant companion. A little clumsy when I want to back out of some screens and I am forced to save or cancel (hence 4 stars)...I love that I can customize my planting dates as I often try things "out of season" hoping full one not too pricey cuz my trial period almost up.
Really like this newer version ... I love it ! Much nicer UI and very user friendly. Plenty of information for every type of gardener.
