Having trouble finding the right wine to pair with your food? You can now find the answers using the Wine Pairing App, which won the silver award for Most Creative App in Mob-Ex Award 2013! Sushi? Phad thai? Dim sum? You name it and we have the recommendations right here for you.
This application provides food and wine pairing suggestions, and works in two ways:
First, you can search for wine to pair with a specific dish, such as roast chicken, lamb curry or a cheese platter.
Second, you can look for a type of dish to enjoy with a particular bottle of wine - be it a Merlot, Shiraz, Riesling or Moscato – that you’ve been wanting to open all this time!
Apart from international cuisines, this application gives you wine matches for a wide array of local Singaporean favourites like lamb curry, char kway teow and chilli crab.
You can also use this app to browse the entire FairPrice wine list for an extensive international selection.

Nice idea but very slow. Each time one wants info one has to download. Can't all the info be downloaded when the app is download so we can access it instantly? Seems Australian wines and perhaps others but no specific wine I could recognise. Just as well the pairings were general eg Merlot.

Keeps prompting to update but no such update available on Play Store or via internet. Only suggests varietal for pairing, not specific wines in NTUC inventory. What a waste of time and band width!
