Was perfect until official gingerbread update on EVO... Was a 5 star rating.

With Google deploying it's new Hangouts integration with Google Voice, can you please add similar functionality for that? I've been using this app for a few years now, and even with my Samsung Galaxy S5 and all the latest updates, still works. There is a version 2.0 out, but I haven't seen a need (for me) to change. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

I suspect that Google changed something with this most recent update of Google Voice. This no longer works, which really saddens me, as I had found it flawless till now. I couldn't find a way to contact the developer, so I guess I have to write this and hope for a change...

I always forgot if I gave people my Google voice number or my cell number and thy would get confused when I called. Now this app allows that hassle to be gone. Simple and works perfect.

Trying to select gv group or main number group causes an error and i cant pick a group. Seems like a good idea for an app though if it worked

The only thing keeping this at 4 stars instead of 5 is that group selection is a radio button instead of multiple check boxes. Great app!

I needed something that would allow me to automatically use my regular cell number for the free calls to people I know are in-network. This works great.

Despite quite a few recent reviews saying it doesn't work, I haven't had any problems on my Galaxy S3. My only feature suggestion is per-contact configuration- ideally, a prompt the first time you call somebody asking whether to use Google Voice for all future calls to that person. Seeing as this hasn't been updated in several years, though, that seems unlikely to happen :)

It used to work great, then all of a sudden it stopped. Now every call comes from "regular number"... SMH!

You have to have gv set to ALWAYS use gv when calling for this to work. It doesn't work on any other setting.

Google wasn't smart enough to make Voice work like this, with these options, thanks for fixing their incompetence!

Way too complicated, how being able to select individuals instead of groups or area codes? Sometimes simplicity works best.

Not a useful as I hoped. Doesn't work if a contact is assigned to multiple groups and the area code feature is useless on my plan.

Can't you just add the feature to add a 10-digit number. don't like how its area only this way i can just call a contact with gv instead of by group

Works well but needs an option to use google voice for all numbers not in my phone book. - evo

Just what I needed with this latest update with the default...I use gv as my business number and my normal one for everyone else. Thanks!

Once I got it set up it worked great. (Not the Apps fault.) Read the directions, and read FAQ on developers website. No more annoying "Use Google Voice" step on every call I place. I use the Dial by Groups option. Making donation now!

This app is great for Google Voice users! I finally figured out how to add area codes and calling groups to use your google voice number on with Lollipop. Long press the recent apps button and the setting menu will appear.

Set up a group name for who you want always to call with Google Voice, set the phone numbers you want and then soon you forget you have it. So far I LOVE it!!!!!!

Actually makes Google Voice use feasible! I always wished I could pick certain contacts for voice and not others. Now I can!

Great app... Very responsive dev! If you are on Droid X/2, do NOT create groups on the phone. Only create them in Gmail or they won't work.

This is an incredibly useful app. It really is indispensible for anyone trying to switch over to Google Voice as their primary number.

I no longer need to remember who had which number of mine. Lumped them into 2 calling groups and forget about it.

I love this. It's wonderful, I don't have to choose whether to use GV or not with each call I make. However, it seems to be using GV for one number it shouldn't be that isn't in the "use GV" group I made. I'll be bug reporting this, but wanted to let others know about the possible bug. And really, people, is it *that* difficult to make a "use GV" group and add everyone you want to it? It's simpler to code that way from a developer's standpoint, and not that difficult to do for a user.

Works great for a while, then gets buggy. Having a problem with groups showing up double or triple and unable to dial by group.

Works great on N1, anyone using GV should have this too. Although, this really should be a normal GV feature.

My only issue is that when the call is supossed to go through my carrier, sometimes I have to dial twice because nothing happens the 1st time.

I used this successfully on my old Motorola Razr Maxx but now that I have a Galaxy it no longer works. When I try to select a main group some groups are listed in triplicate. Choosing the group I want still results in the phone dialing with Google Voice. I emailed support but I guess they are no longer around. The last update was in 2010.

Didn't work on my Droid X. Kept using regular number.

Have to select "always use Google voice" in Google voice settings for this app to work. Much needed app!

Doesn't remember to use google voice all the time and so our keeps trying to call with my regular number!

Downloaded v2.0 of this app and it doesn't work. This version does.

FC on EVO , used to work wonderfully.

This app is exactly what I need. The only hiccup I found is when I have a contact listed 2 different ways (i.e. Wife's Name and also ICE). You have to make sure that both contacts are flagged with the group name you want to use. BTW, I am using an HTC One M8.

Groups don't work. I read the instructions. Tried and uninstalled.

It uses area code selection and that's essential for me, I have family in Puerto Rico and GV it not free when calling there. The app allows me to do most of my calls with GV and the ones to PR with out. It also logs the number called not the GV dialed.
