BBM - Free Calls & Messages

After switching from BBM on BB10 to BBM on Android, I'm massively disappointed. I get 5+ invites from random Indonesian people per week and have to view ads. You want to have ads for non-BlackBerry users, fine, but for Priv/DTEK owners, there shouldn't be ads!

I can't delete or i don't know how to delete all the stickers that i've already installed on my phone. And change the resolution of the display picture. It's SO BAD. And why does it have to be a square (1:1) display picture ? I HATE a SQUARE (1:1) DISPLAY PICTURE. Make it customizable like 4:3 in landscape or portrait mode for android users.

BBM is not private anymore, coz so many people that I dont know add my pin. As long as I know our pin is private, only people that I know can have my pin. Now very annoying... everyday there're strangers add my pin. Sometime they are hacker. So please fix it. Because BBM is not safe anymore SPAM ....... SPAM .....SPAM.... AGAIN .......AARRRGGGHH

Very disappointed with BB, I have been a loyal fans until late. Had to switch to an android and now BBM freind requests from people I don't know keep coming at all hrs of the night. If it doesn't stop soon I will drop BBM. Very sad I had shares in the company, I believed in Blackberry and they continue to drop the ball.

Its been years yet bbm doesnt have video call. WhatsApp is out doing bbm and that's just sad. Improvements need to be made. Enable Video call! Stop wasting our time with updates with nothing new.

Where is my grid view, list view is so ugly to me ?! Stickers is becoming an absolute mess. Option to delete downloaded stickers would make using them fun again ... now I don't bother.

Why are you asking me about my date of birth? I don't want to share it. Other IM never ask that! Also, the ads on my feed are kind of annoying since i cannot block the ads that i don't like. Overall layout are somewhat confusing and not user friendly. It also consuming a lot of memory and data traffic. However, i like the sending and sharing files feature.

Rated 5 stars....but they constantly keep asking me to rate again....down to 3. Ask again and it will slip even more. (Ads are becoming a nuisance)

Really bad, too many fake account, not secure!! Aplikasi ini banyak spamnya, banyak iklannya, sangt sangat buruk sekali. Lebih baik menggunakan aplikasi lainnya. HAD BETTER TO UNINSTALL THIS ANNOYING APP!!!

what blackberry doesn't have a new feature for select delete / retract or send message, i give 2 stars. And now, after last update, i can't view grid layout on my contact? so BAD IDEA, REALLY BAD, i give 1 star and 4 stars for addiction retract message and timer. so i have 1 stars for bbm.

BBM used to be good when I was on BB10 then when I switched to Android, I've been plagued with ads and unwanted user requests. Still an awesome communication platform but those annoyances take off a couple stars.

This app is lacking one thing (last seen) please update it and add last seen. We need to know when someone is online or offline.

Just updated, and I can't add my phone number to my account. To many Spam invites, and why do priv users have to be subjected to all these adds? Ads should be for non BlackBerry phone users.

Broadcast message should be work on group only, Not on whole contact. Broadcast make stupid people doing stupid act

Man bbm rock, after I moved to priv I thought I am gonna loose the BlackBerry Gui . But I'm wrong feel like I'm using bb10 . Specially bbm same as bb10 n smooth n easy. Waytogo

Internet connection's IP-Adrs auto reveals approx-Location & suffice for any external server to provide service, so NO need to collect GPS or Netwrk Location from the device itself. Remove this or give users option to disable that functionality at 1st start, or release a separate BBM-Location Plugin App, users who needs to reveal can load+use that. A very good side of this app is it does not access/collect: Device & App History, Sensitive Log files, running App List, all website/url visit List, etc. When this app Devs wil start to Respect Privacy-Rights even more & apply in this app, then we wil updat our review. Waaaaaay to many sponsored cannels and other silly alerts that I get, there is no way to turn those off. If I could it would get 5 star rating

Haven't updated my review in a while. You guys have come leaps and bounds since first released. Excellent job and I love the voice calling feature. High definition voice quality. Perfect. Keep up the great work.

Too bad my friends not use it. They prefer to give up the content of their conversations to Facebook/WhatsApp

Moved to Priv. Getting lots of friend requests every morning from Indonesian people, whom I do not know. Spam. Rubbish. No help from BBM

Just a wasteland of annoying advertisements that intentionally jump around on screen to get clicks. It is essentially the corporate death rattle of a once great company.

Awesome IM app, the best in fact. Anybody complaining about coming from BlackBerry 10 to Android, why did you switch? Stick with BlackBerry 10 if you like that more.

Great messenger, dying out to competition. But, I still love it and try to use it to maximum. For me anything BlackBerry is great!

OK but I get lots of spam invites compared to on bb10. Not as good imo

I used to be a big fan of BBM, but I recently experienced constant disconnection, it keeps telling me : Limited access as it's trying to connect. What a big disappointment.

After update this app, i can't see mycontact by grid just only list.. please back like before

BBM getting worst ! a lot of ads & some fake online shop randomly add my pin !

But please improve on your voice/video calls.... It's good but can be better.... However BBM is still one of the best messenger apps on Android....

I use newest version of this app. But why I cant change the contact view? Before I upgrade, contact view is grid. After I upgrade it change to list. And I cant change back into grid view. And no option in setting to change the contact view. Please fix this. Thanks

Nearly the best app for calling and chatting but you it has two problems if you solve them then sure it will be the best app ever 1-Why when I'm talking with my friend on a call..pass few hours and then hang up suddenly itself? Imagine that I want to keep talking with him for one day..24 hours.. is that will be a problem? Please work on solving this problem because I don't want to lose a call because of that Problem number 2:-When I'm on a call with my friend..if any call is coming on our numbers..it interrupts the call and then hangs up by itself ..why? You can fix it and make it even if there's another one calling me or my friend it will not make our call on BBM hanged up right? So please BBM..if you do care about our reviews..work on these problems please..and thank you

Thanks BlackBerry for the video call capability. Great job! BBM should have black theme as an option and chat search feature.

WAY TOO MUCH "sponsored" (ads) content but the app itself is much improved from previous. Works well, easy to use & reliable.

Good but lately i've got alot of new invitation that i didnt even know who they are... its anoyying !!

Where is the grid view? It's more helpful to find my own contacts,please bring it back to bbm again. Fix this issue please. Thanks

Hard to connect, when open this app there's always this feature "connecting" its annoying, unlike another chat apps which are easy to connect

i have got so many invitations from unknown peoples. i feel not secure to be here, how they got my pin ? i never share it in public

Dear Blackberry, kindly create theme or at least we can adjust the wallpaper as I prefer to get dark/black colour. Thanks in advance
