Boomerang Mail - Gmail, Outlook & Exchange Email for Android
Awesome. If I'm working late at night and want to get an email out at early in the morning, I can type it up in the middle of the night, hit send later, and schedule it to be sent at 8am. Also let's me track emails I send and let's me know when the recipient opens them. Works seamlessly with my email accounts, ui looks the same, just added options/buttons. Awesome.
Good email client. I have tried many other email apps for exchange server, but this one accepts all my details without any hussle. Although some points can be mentioned here. First and foremost, I would love to see calander support. Then the exchange, which is in beta, should be rolled out at the earliest. Then regarding sync issues. I am having some problems while syncing my emails. Some of them are not shown at once. It should be fixed. Other than these, the app is one of the best in the market.
Decent app. Issues for me is that Sent emails in the 'Sent' folder don't label the recipient only the sender and I can't find a way to change it. Its a little slow to load messages and it would be good to have the option of adding photos to an email directly from the camera whilst composing an email. Would be 5 star if this could be changed.
Update April '17: Please fix the small font issue when viewing emails. The font is too small for me to see even after changing font setting size to XL. This is making the app very difficult to use. --- This app makes managing email easier than ever. I would highly recommend this app to any heavy email user. Boomerang is the best.
I use this to schedule Google voice text messages. Love it. Wish i could choose the default times for scheduling though. 6am (rude) to 1:30pm is a huge time window with nothing between. How about a normal morning option like 8 or 9? Or just let us customize and choose a time we like without having to do custom every time.
I commented before how I love the app, the app that works well for me is the add-on for Windows. It's very useful, however, I tried using the Boomerang app for my emails and I just can't get over how boring it looks and feels. I've noticed more and more that when I archive or move emails to folders I get error messages. To be honest, if Boomerang could integrate with the gmail app for Android I would love it more. Time to change email app...
This app is something else originally got it just to see what it was after walking into a room that my husband didn't know I was walking into was wondering what he was doing asked him over and over got to see out of the corner of my eye and wala. Out of curiosity I dug and dug and dug thank you out for helping me out it's unfortunate people feel like they got to go to this point people are going to be people it's a great out though too good
Before Boomerang I sometimes forgot I sent an email but got no response. With Boomerang I am reminded if I didn't get a response, the effectiveness of the wording is improved, I can schedule the email to be sent at a later time, and those are just some of the benefits. It's a truly useful app.
The best email client for Android, better than Gmail's own email client in some ways even! Especially love the feature to boomerang emails to come back to you later, or to send emails with delayed delivery. But once you start using this client more you start to appreciate all the hard work that went into the little details and other features.
I have been searching for an app that does what boomerang does the way a starving person searches for pizza! The gains in productivity from pausing my inbox have been exponential. I also eliminate 90% of the mental clutter in my head, and my inbox, by boomeranging emails back to me when relevant. Great app highly recommended!
Good but still need improvement. 1. Not showing the images on email, specially logo after signature 2. Other apps gives an option to forward or reply email from other added email account by selecting from the drop down. 3. Sync frequency not able to set
Keeps crashing, while I'm in the middle of typing emails. I've had it for several hours and I've managed to send only 1 email successfully. And unlike Gmail it doesn't appear to automatically save unfinished emails to drafts. I want to like it so badly. I really do
It is so wonderful to have the same great Boomerang features on my Android as on my desktop computer. The only other feature that I would like on the Android is a selection for all inboxes to show - like in the Gmail app - without having to manually switch accounts.
Scheduling a time/date for pre-prepared email is very practical. So much that I don't understand why Google-mail can't include this with their service. However it's unprofessional to have "sent with love from Boomerang" at the bottom of a formal email. This can be removed before sending
Allows me to pretend to my family that I sleep at a normal time *Schedules all emails for irregular intervals between 7-8am... And promptly enables Do Not Disturb until 10am :) *
Couple of things: Love the way it groups emails within conversations and let's you navigate the replies by tapping to close/hide the ones that you've read. It's one of the few apps I've found that does it this way. That said, I think the app would benefit greatly from some additional settings, like UI customizations (e.g. being able to set different text sizes/colors for all aspects of the app, rather than just message text; adjusting default sort order of replies in conversations.) Just some little updates would make this easily a 5-Star! I've paid for other apps, just to be able to tweak the UI to death. Maybe offer a paid version with more customizations? Updated to 5*: Shout out to the Support team! They actually read and respond to emails (even those with all your "great" ideas for improvements)! :) That in itself makes up for the few "missing" features (at least those I'd like to see).
LOVE Boomerang as a service, happy to pay for it, but this app is lame. There's no option to view or edit your scheduled messages, and you can only schedule emails for very specific times (6 am, 8 am, etc). The limited functionality makes the app essentially useless, at least to me.
best mail app I've used to date. data loads a little slow but it's not enough to stop using it. pros outweigh the cons. makes staying on top of emails so much easier
Great app for scheduling boomerangs and outgoing emails! The interface is a little clunky so I don't use it as my primary email client but it's a lot easier to use than their mobile site.
There are 2 tools missing, one of which is a must have. A select all button for spam and trash. Gmail has that and that's the only reason I keep it. The other tool that would be nice would be an auto empty for trash and spam. Thanks for the effort though. If these tools were ever to be incorporated I'd be willing to pay for this app.
A good concept with some helpful features but an incomplete app by itself. Difficult to use it in isolation without useful email management features that other email clients provide. But it would be an extremely helpful tool as an add-on to other email clients across devices & platforms.
Lots of promises, but needs work: 1. Send later feature with Exchange server account doesn't work. 2. No unified inbox, sent folders etc.
Love this app. It does wonders to help me stay organized with work and my personal life. The only thing I'd like to get is the ability to send emails at a later date with attachments. This would make my work like so much easier. Now I just send reminders to send an email... but over all great!!
I use this app to send my weekly email to my knitting circle, and I love being able to schedule the message ahead of time so I don't forget to send it. It's also really helpful for copy pasting an email list on my phone - sometimes Gmail won't let me paste from our group list, but this app works perfectly.
The ability to schedule emails for later sending is invaluable. Interface is clean. Only suggestion is to remove the cringe-worthy default signature. "Typed with thumbs and sent with love?" What if I hadn't caught that, and sent a message to my employer?
Not bad, but could be better. The calander year is wrong because it still showing 2001 and we're in 2017 Now It need's fixing!!!
Works great, the only problem I found was the application clock is wrong for my time zone. Figured it out after some time though. For an email to go out 12:00 noon MST the schedule must be set for 2:00 MST.
Helps me out since I really struggle with Adhd and tend to do computer work super late. I can work at 3 am without looking weird to the people receiving my emails.
A must have app for heavy email users. Their support team will actually hear your needs and incorporate.
Unable to download attachments either on wifi or mobile data. The progress bar shows up, fills up slowly up to 24℅ (sometimes even less, maybe at 2 or 3℅) hangs there for a while and maybe one minute later errors out: "Error downloading filename.ext. No such file or directory". This happens for files of any size, even small pdfs 200k in size and it happens 95℅ of the time. There are rare occasions that the download has completed just fine, so it's not a permission issue. Please look in to it asap. Thanks in advance. If this issue is addressed, it will be a solid 5+ star performer.
My first review in 2015 was not favorable. So many improvements since then have made this my goto for email. Thanks for always improving this app.
I'm a small business owner and as such we have to wear many hats. it would be very easy for me to get caught in email loops with clients all day long and thus be unable to provide our actual service to them. at the same time we cannot reasonably afford an office administrator. by scheduling emails to be sent out later we carve ourselves out blocks of time during which we can do all of our other work. this is also helped and reaching out to larger companies and creating new relationships. very generally it is not looked very professional to be reaching out to such companies so late in the evening ... so by scheduling emails to go out the next morning it helps us still look as professional as our work.
I've used just about every email app in existence, and this is right up at the top of the list. Cool boomerang feature for those who forget everything....like me. Easy to use, but has the options under the hood if you want to dial it in to your liking. The team is humble, they are customer-oriented and put out a quality product. Love the team pic in front of your sign!
A must have for scheduling emails at times when you're unable to do so manually. Especially helpful for time zone differences.
Scheduled/Delay send was the feature I was looking for, and Boomerang makes it easy. Lots of other features for conversation follow up that I rarely use, but good to know those are easy also. Best feature is the plugin for desktop use of Boomerang!
Needs improvement, not very intuitive designs and access. Needs ability to format emails, adding Bold fonts, Change colors of text, etc basic formating.
Really do like it. Wish it wasn't a separate platform on the phone from my Gmail app. I like how desktop version is Integrated. Also, a signature line that says "sending this e-mail using boomerang" would be great exposure for you and I'd be happy to include it on my e-mails.
The interface is user friendly and helps me sort through and organize all my inbox mail. I feel accomplished after using this app to declutter my piled up email messages. 5 stars!
This app is very useful to enable emails to be created at a convenient time and scheduled to be issued at a later occasion. Brilliant. Works from drafts created in Gmail or in Boomerang!

Good clean interface and basic focused functions. Not yet usable for me as it lacks rich text format in email writing and signatures - a requirement for business use. Also, I only use dark theme apps for battery and ease of visibility. This app has it, but the font in the read messages are too dark grey to read. Will check back if these items exist/improved.
