Planet Rock

Since I posted this review back in March 2016 nothing has changed. You load it up and it still just shows a red screen with a planet rock logo, then just keeps showing adverts. It just doesn't work. Planet rock obviously doesn't want more listeners.

Can be a little buggy and drop out. Also, the 'now playing' display doesn't work when the app is in the background. It'd be really great to add a decent bit of buffering for when driving through areas with no signal. Great station though.

Only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that it keeps cutting out and so I have to then go back into the app to restart. And sometimes it won't come back on at all. Apart from that, I love it! Just please fix it

Great station (the three stars), not so great app. Drops out a lot and needs restarting to get it going again. Appearance could be better too --needs to keep up with what's actually playing! Does the job, sometimes. Could do better, much!

There isn't alot on the radio that caters for rock but Planet Rock more than makes up for it. Does get a bit repetitive but otherwise satisfies the rocker in me.

The app is good the real time function doesn't refresh that often so what is being displayed as playing now might not necessarily what is being played. Not sure if it is my phone or not but I have had to reboot a few times now as the app was hanging.

Rated as 2 stars due to errors occurring when I even attempt to use the listen again function. It has failed at every attempt this far and all I ever see is a message that says "error". Streaming live radio works fine, but as half the function of the app is the ability to be able to catch up on shows you missed, it seems like a big chunk of this app is a major failure. If they sort out the listen again issues then I will RE rate an RE review.

I love it I LOVE ROCK AND IT'S WERE ROCK LIVES it's only a little bit of a pain in the arce 'cause you can't listen to the one you've just listened to like Unchained and I went back to it and I couldn't listen to it again

I've not been let down yet. It's a great way to unwind to and from work... and sometimes at Work! Excellent music choices. Reminds me of my good days.

Love the station but cant get the app to work. Im on a Greek island at the moment and it just wont connect (on wifi) having to listen to Gold or Smooth because their apps work!!

Since the start of the Xmas holiday I thought good can listen to planet rock all week, that's a laugh i I haven't heard one song a completely without the signal dropping out,now forced to listen to radio 2, all because planet rock sucks in Cornwall after the marvelous retune,it's no good complaining tho because the city oiks don't care.

Great app. Just plays my Rock music. That's all I need. I miss the play list links to buy the music but no great loss.....

Great app with great features. Would like it to have the track listing when you're listening to previous shows but otherwise can't fault it!

The app works well on my Samsung S8+ great improvement on previous versions. I'm now a very happy Planet Rock listener.

Best radio station in the world, this app had saved me buying a digital radio for the car, as it's the only digital station that my lugs encounter on a daily basis, keep on rocking

Best rock station to date. Kool music , play all the best music from 80's to the present day. DJs are great to. Planet Rock rocks.

Great app except for the cutting out. That gets annoying ☹

Best radio station ever. Great app. What more could you ask for! Even get handy clock when falling asleep with timer!

The only problem i have with anything is the adverts... But you cant have everything. Fantastic listening tony kind of music.

Used the app for most of today while on the road. Apart from the occasional drop outs it worked very well. Also surprised how little data it used.

The ads everytime you open the app takes ages to load... And sometimes "the hairy bikers" are on the station and it's terrible

Loving the verity of pure rock .only thing I wouldn't mine hearing is a bit of early punk

The only reason I cannot give 5* is that I cannot listen again while on holiday in Turkey

I've only listened to the radio up to now... great music apart from the odd bit of country stuff???

Love this app as i use it when im out and about. I have planet rock on home radios all the time but this app is great when I'm out walking or taking kids to school picnics etc x

It's internet radio, why shouldn't it just work. Does what it says on the tin!

Finally can get to listen to my favourite music whislt driving.Not so good tho when it stops streaming

Clunky, doesn't automatically update live playlists, difficult to navigate.

Great app. I use it with my bluetooth speakers in the back garden. Unlike YouTube you can use this app while using your webb browser.
