Empire magazine for movie news

Why remove the ability to store downloads on the SD card? Each issue is quite big, this is an awful decision. Add the ugly user interface, long download times, banner ads for a magazine I already sub to and clunky in app online interactions to this and unless there are signifigant changes to this app, I won't be renewing my Empire sub.

Strongly dislike. Longer downloading time than in the previous version.I suspect that this version was made to snoop on people. I dislike what has became of this pompous unprofessional and ridiculous magazine. I've been only using the magazine to get release dates so I won't be renewing my subscription. It's easier to get info online these days. Seems like some bored, spoilt and quite frankly uneducated children are writing reviews these days.bye bye

This new version seems to have removed the option to use SD card for storage and so now I cannot download a single issue (with the previous version I had many editions on my tablet).

I can't find where to sign in? I'm using it on a galaxy s6. The instructions say just tap the 3 horizontal lines in the top left, but there is nowhere for me to enter my username and password

Long time Empire reader but the app is frustratingly clunky. No landscape mode. Interactive elements only sometimes work. And older downloaded issues become "pixelated" in places making it difficult to re-read?!? Odd. Great attempt, poor execution, and it rather breaks my heart.

Yes, I know the paper magazine is portrait, but would it kill the app devs to offer landscape mode, which is how most tablet owners use their device?

This is not an app to read movie news. It's an app to buy the magazine. Nothing more. You should make this clear before wasting our time downloading it.

Doesn't work offline, which makes it utterly useless for me.

It's so awesome, specially the motion cover, and yes.. You can play trailers and videos while you are reading the article.

Er, without teaching you to suck eggs... Why not invest a bit of time putting your summary film reviews on the site, then maybe do the magazine sell. Installed and uninstalled within 60seconds for me, a record!

Why pay for something when you go into empire and pick it up for free

One of the best Android magazine apps I've come across... fully interactive, brilliant and independent content. Works great on my Tab 4. Highly recommended.

Hi Everyone! If you want to pay money ( looking at ads is paying them money) to people who call themselves journalists and then write about POLISH DEATH CAMPS during WWII - then feel free to do it. If they make that kind of mistakes (and this is primary school), I wouldn't trust them with my device. I wouldn't want to get from them information about any topic - if they don't know who was responsible for death camps during WWII, they may as well write that Marlon Brando is still alive and is a women. I tried contacting them with message below, but got no response: "Hi Empire! I'd like to congratulate you! You've made huge discovery! You found evidence that Sobibor was POLISH death camp. Should be in the play magazine section. An app should have some value you wouldn't get in a pdf copy of the mag. Also some free trial content to tease me in... No thought
