Basket Savings

The concept is great however it does not match comparable items for the whole basket. Said CVS had lowest price. But used a single roll of paper towels vs the 6 cnt at other stores. But other stores had cheaper single roll. Misleading and needs some work to ensure that prices are compared accurately across all locations.

Junk... Doesn't work. Error in loading lists for weeks. Uninstalled and re-installed still doesn't work. Would be great if there was a help area within the app to get some help with it... very disappointed coming from the waze team I thought it would be great.. don't waste your time, it's very aggravating!!!

Of 10 items I've screen it recognized the price of 2 of them. Useless

I went to the store today and bought three items. As I was shopping, I was wondering if I could get the items I was buying cheaper elsewhere. Then I thought, there ought to be an app for that. When I got home I searched and, sure enough, here it is. So I downloaded the app and tested it out by adding the three very common/basic items I had just purchased to a shopping list. When I tried comparing prices, it told me that no store near me had all the items in my cart. Okay, there is no store near me (or anywhere else in America, I would guess) that does NOT have these three basic items, so..there's that. Then I tried checking the nearby prices on each item individually. In each case, the price the app listed, for the store at which I had just purchased the item, was incorrect. In fact, in all three cases the price listed was substantially lower than the actual price I had just paid. Obviously, this means the app is useless to me, but beyond that the interface is confusing and not at all easy to use. If anyone ever manages to get this right, I imagine there would be a huge market for it. Unfortunately, this app doesn't do it.

The design is very flawed. I made a grocery list, but it won't let me compare stores because there is 1 item that is not available at stores near me. Then I do not have the ability to delete the item from my list.

At this point I will give this a 5 because I have tried 8 other apps to compare grocery item prices in my local area. This is THE ONLY ONE that has prices for my local stores!!!! Yay!!!! I am so excited to use this app.

The app is broken. Won't pull in the locations of where the items are, just says oops something went wrong. The one for iPhone is much better

This app is broken. It's worthless. Tried it on a Galaxy s7 and an s5. Doesn't work at all.

Job ... Using Basket Savings App = Putting You In Slavery !!! 100% Fact !!! Young People ... Do Not Get Exploited For You Legs For Rich People That Want To Save Money !!! (By not walking in the store themselves)

Can't plan ahead. I want to be able to plan my shopping trips so I know which stores o need to go to. If you have to commute to do your grocery shopping you can't price compare until you are there because it only looks locally and I live 40 min away from the main grocery stores.

Great idea, bad execution. Maybe with more users it will be more accurate. I found the prices to be accurate about 25% of the time. So you think you are driving around and saving money, but when you get there, the prices are completely different. Not really helpful.

Basket users - contribute the prices for your items when you go grocery shopping so we can all save more money! It's very easy to scan a barcode and update the price. I updated 27 prices yesterday when I was at Giant Eagle.

The Basket app is like having your own grocery shopping savings assistant.

Doesn't work

Refresh on sales and coupons is unusable. Hoping to use the app to at least comparison shop though.

I have been using the Basket app since January. I have downloaded their new versions and the app keeps getting better. Unlike other companies, they really listen to their users and make improvements from the user suggestions. I am a strong believer in Basket and is my go to app for grocery shopping. You can type in any product and it will show me the prices and sales at all of the grocery stores in my area. They have a huge database. Bottom line, I absolutely love the company and their apps!

As a new user of this app I found it most helpful to just scan my items needed for my trip to the store. But comparing prices is really saving us time..gas..and money. I am hoping to be able to compare more prices once a few more stores near me are added. :-) I'm excited to explore it more. Being able to see what stores are around us and where our favorite items are cheapest when in an unfamiliar area, too is a great feature, especially when traveling on a budget!

Great little app. Helps me find deals and stretch my grocery dollars. An in-app tutorial would be helpful for new users.

Cluttered and not very intuitive. I expected to be able to separate my grocery list by store- not an option. Loved being able to scan products, but there wasn't a clear way to add them in if the scanner didn't recognize the item.

Love it I've been using the Basket app for about 2 weeks now and it has saved our family $45 on our grocery shopping.

The more I use basket for grocery shopping,the more hooked we get. It is nice that it remembers my favorite products and stores.

The prices rarely match the stores listed. You spend time, gas, energy chasing a sale that doesn't exist!

It loads extremely slow and if there is an option to remove a basket, I'll never know because the app can't handle the traffic.

Didn't work

I downloaded the original version, open it up and am told I have to download a brand new version. GTFO. Just update your app!

Love that I have Basket as my shopping list on my phone when I go to the store. Or if the hubby is at the store and I forgot to add something we need, the sharing list feature can show him exactly what we need before he leaves the store haha way before he has to go back out for that 2nd grocery trip of "the forgotten groceries"! Takes all the work out of looking for sales and coupons, such a time saver, something I definitely need!
