If you are trying to manage a team, especially without a single office, and you find that information, emails, and documents are getting lost in the fray of all your other projects or jobs, this is a great solution. Everything about that one project in one place. We use it for managing a non profit arts collective, run by all people who have tons of other responsibilities and various schedules.

Great way to organize teams using differents apps/tools in just one. It would be better to have a free option as well not just a trial version and also for indipendent users it is still enough expensive. But again it's one of the best team and project management tools out there.

It's the simplest tool I've used so far. I especially love the automated checkin feature 'coz it allows me to reflect on my work along the way -although I've got no metrics, I've noticed many steady improvements in my work already!

I LOVE Basecamp, we use it for communication between CSR and field ops and I love the scope of functions for creating task lists for my team in To-dos. I do wish there was a widget, especially for To-dos. Also, notifications could be easier to customize. The desktop app is great as well, but it needs a refresh option.

It is painfully slow and not user friendly. I tried to use, decided to go with mobile site, since it works much better on smartphone. Faster, at least. But all Basecamp is a mess, in general. Basecamp 2 was okay, but 3rd is a failure. All my suggestions are submitted long time ago, all I heard back is that you will discuss it. I think it is been couple years now, nothing has changed
