Garbage. Step 1, create a profile first part, add dog photos. Add your dog photos, click continue, "please add photos". Can't even get into the meat of the app before it fails. None of the functionality matters at that point. Uninstalled.

It's pretty useless unless you create a profile which it won't let you do without pictures which it won't accept when you try to upload! Yay for wasted time and data, but they got my email address so they can spam me to death. I'm sure that's the main focus anyway!

This is a good way to meet other dog lovers in your city. There are always events posted and you can find other dogs near you and set up playdates with them. I appreciate that there is also a Lost and Found alert that could be super helpful. I'm relatively new to Austin and I've met some really great people through the app. Really fun events too!

I liked this app a few months ago, but now they force you to create an account, and worst of all, the use push notifications that can't be disabled! I hate to do it, but I'm uninstalling.

BarkHappy is a great way to connect with other dogs in the are and to find where your four legged friends can tag along! It is also great for finding local dog friendly events!

Great way to meet other dogs & dog owners in your area. Also can find out about dog friendly locations or events, both of which I'm always on the lookout for.

Requires WAYY too much information when signing up. Also, selecting the (required) photo doesn't work well. After selecting image in Google Photos, nothing happens (no image is actually selected). Had to download manually select from device. Update: Thanks to the devs for the reply. I'd suggest making it easier to omit information (or mark as private) during sign up. Also, the servers have been really slow lately. Like 10+ seconds to load a profile or show wags list.

This app is genius. Makes it very easy to find all the dog friendly businesses in my area- like yelp for dogs! I only wish there was a BarkHappy for pet birds, too!

Bark Happy is wonderful! This is the perfect app for dog lovers looking for fun pet friendly events in their area. Very helpful to find all the dog friendly hangouts and businesses too!

This is cool! There isn't much for montana but I am not surprised. I like that you can add businesses and dog friendly places yourself.

I like it but I think they should add a section for dogs that can be rescued

Such a helpful app, especially for finding places to go with your pups. I spent two hours one time with my small dogs and family trying to find a place where they were allowed, and most places still wanted them to sit outside where the ground was extremely hot. We finally found a place we had to drive much farther away for, but looking at this app now, there's so many places we would have been allowed nearby. The events and socializing abilities are a huge plus!

If you want a dog dating app it's fine, but I wanted help finding motels. All it does is show a map, no prices, dog fees, etc. So of no use for travelling.

I just downloaded the app. I set up my dogs profile and reviewed dogs near me. I was disappointed in the map. It is inaccurate. It shows Washington Square Mall on the north side of Washington Ave when in actuality it is on the south side. There is a new grocery store and pet store on the north side that I am unable to tag. The county Humane society was not listed on the app. Not user friendly to add the info. To the correct location. It would be much easier with satellite view.

The app is easy to use and the daily matches are a great way to see and meet dogs in your area. It's really fun to see dogs in your area and be part of a community through the app.

Love this app! I have meet so many cool people. My dog has meet dogs that he loves. It helps to have other dogs to tire him out.

It has a few kinks to work out, but overall, it is an awesome app! If more people would download it, it would be even better!

I live this app! I'm new to town so the events and map make it very easy to be social and make new friends. I also end up making some friends too.

The map is very user friendly to find nearby dog friendly places. And now it's so easy to plan to go out with your pet. Awesome ...

I just want an app that tells me where dog parks are. This tells me everything else.

Good app but needs easier way to add dog friendly locations. Can't type in address and add in places, either have to be there or rely on luck to have the dot land where you want it.

If you are into taking your dog with you everywhere, this app is a must. Built in map lets you see all the dog friendly spots (parks, restaurants, bars, hotels, etc). You can easily add to the map of you know a great spot. It's also a great social tool, helps introduce you to other dogs in the neighborhood and dog events.

I didn't care for the app. I emailed BarkHappy and didn't care for their response. I posted a review. Now they keep emailing me every few weeks and I feel bullied. I don't care for their customer service approach. Try it, maybe you will like it better.

This app is amazing! Perfect for dog owners for finding dog friendly establishments. Bark Happy events are always fun and exciting. The app is easy to use and the creator of the app is dedicated to making sure your experience is the best it can be.

Could not make it through account creation because it required a picture of each dog.... not going to make my dogs public.... deleted the app

It's facebook for your dog! Wish we could make our events public if we so choose, but this app is going to make many great things happen. Today Otto had his first meet up because of this app and because of it we found another dog who taught him to start to show interest in toys! That and he is completely wiped out now sleeping. Can't wait for the next meet up with new dogs tomorrow!

I've met great dog friends for my puppy through the app. The community is wonderful, full of events, meetups, and new friends. The map of dog friendly business is AWESOME. Can't wait for that to be built out further. A few things need to be fixed, but it's great as is and I like the potential.

Great for finding dog friendly establishments but finding nearby dogs is proving difficult for me as it's based on distance. I can see a list of dogs but they're all on the other side of a river so they are not actually close at all. If there was a way to see dogs on the map, like "5 dogs hanging out at the Sunny Park Dog Run" then you could see where is a good spot for your pup to meet other dogs. It could remain anonymous for privacy/safety etc. Something like the Uber map when you can see nearby cars?

This app allows dog owners to meet and find playmates for their pups! As a first time dog owner, this app has been really great in allowing me to find dog friendly places locally as well as set up events with my pack! I also have really enjoyed the BarkHappy events that I've attended and I love that they support some of the local rescue organizations! What are you waiting for?! Check it out for yourself!

Porter (my dog) and I didn't even know how much we longed for something like this in our lives! We've met so many great people and he's the most active he's ever been. The features go beyond your usual "dog friendly" and tell you WHERE at that bar/restaurant dogs are actually allowed, and if they provide water bowls, etc. Check it out!
