Pingit is a free*, secure and fantastically fast way to send and receive money. You just need to be over 16, have a current account and have a mobile phone that’s registered in the UK, Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man.
- Pay people and businesses with just a UK mobile number
- Send money to over 35 countries including most of Europe (euros), Australia (AUD), India (INR) and selected African countries - and it’s fee free**
- Send up to £2,000 and receive up to £5,000 daily. If you’re a business customer, send up to £3,000 with no limit on receiving*
- Pay for a Lucky Dip National Lottery ticket (UK & IOM only)
- Donate to charities
*Business customers: check your current account tariff for charges. If tariff charges apply, you’ll be charged for outgoing transactions
**International payments use the exchange rate available on the day of the conversion

Originally worked OK but just P2P. Unfortunately had a phone crash so had to reinstall the app. Since then it has been impossible to re-link the app to my account, (which still has money on it). Have contacted the help desk 4 tines and on their being unable to fix, visited a branch. No one able to sort what must be a fairly common problem. If Barclays is listening get someone on the phone to me now to sort it out 07802 785288. I work in payments and am keen to be an advocate for the new PayByBank feature.

Pingit has really come along way since I started using it. It definitely warrants staying on my phone in between infrequent transfers given it has better support of your payee doesn't have Pingit. One key thing missing for me now I have a Google Pixel is fingerprint authentication. When's coming Barclays?

Shame you can't give negative stars. Barclays processed payment multiple times, and now I am without the money taken from me. Indian call centres are so rude, closed my account without asking with money in the wallet and hung up. Told me it was standard procedure to always take double to payments. Would never trust barclays with my money again! Keep clear!
