Doenloaded the app today for first time. Installed and tried to register, but the moment i receive the confirmation sms and I reply 1 to authenticate the app crash. I have reported it via email.
This app usded to work great... last few weeks it won't even open. Gives me an inexpected error every time I try to log in.
Its so confusing lately. I can't even use the cashsend function because the confirmation message does not pop up and this is very irritating. I've been using this app for a while and all of a sudden I can't cashsend or do transfers. Such a let down.
Absolutely convenient... Absa needs to sort out the option of buying electricity online... Can't be behind FNB n be happy about that...otherwise would have given it a 5 star

I can't enter a dash in the reference field (as well as other characters). This means that I can't pay certain beneficiaries using the app and I have to use the website. Should be able to enter the same characters I can enter on the website.
A bit slow on my tablet and on data plan but works a bit faster when connected to Wi-Fi. I'd recommend it although hope some bug fixes like unexpected errors occurring would be fixed, thanks. Update.. with so many fixes runs smooth now and have no complaints.
I really like the new app, it's user friendly and easy to use.
Love using the application (I feel much at ease now) haven't experienced any errors so far especially when coming to prepaid features. Add the electricity prepaid please.
I can do a great deal of my banking on this app. Absa has implemented good security which is reassuring. Obviously users need to be reasonably comfortable with mobile banking else they end up with inappropriate ratings. Absa could jazz up the UI though to make it more appealing and flowing.
This app is simply great ,very convenient and easy to use. Thumbs Up Absa.
Can't buy prepaid electriity on app. Can do on several other Banks apps. 6-8 Months have gone by and still nothing. Maybe I should consider changing my bank!
I love the banking experience at my finger tips. The call centre support is always friendly and helpful. Those complaints about the frequent failures to link can solve the problem by switching Wi-Fi off. Probably too many Wi-Fi competing in the area.
Like the app. User friendly and portable... There's always room for improvement. Keep up the good work.
Absa is the worst bank when it comes to their administration. Neither the app, website, call centre, branch nor the managers know how to help their members. I haven't been able to access my salary since the 25th to date and Absa is confused about whose fault it is. Disgusting.
User friendly, well secured and safe, thou they should try feature the same process that they use inside bank's were by when the account number of the receipt and the name are not matching it should stop and say wrong info and not process...I think that will be so cool .

However, there is still room for some innovative ideas and more user friendly interaction. I sometimes find myself lost within the app; not sure where I am and how to get back.
I'd have given it a five if it wasn't for the constant android version error that keeps popping up when using the app, or trying to rather.
Challenges logging in especially on weekends, forever "error" messages & happens at the time when you really really need to do important transactions ! Phone banking way better than this trash
I can't even log on - exception Error no RVNDeliver Method IE definition....or something to that extent. What's the point, there's no online help available and the call centre, after 20minutes is still not answering. I'm uninstalling it again. ABSA....you're generic reply is not helping me solve the issue. What new app? They's 2 coming up in the app store! The link from last e-statement brings me back here?! This is super frustrating!!
When logging on my app says my phone has been tempered and will not update in future, however this is now the case. Upgraded Android to Marshmallow which is currently unsupported for this app
The ABSA Internet or cell phone banking still does not work on weekend night, i struggled with payments. I dont have this problem with other banks and its very frustrating
I can't login, it keeps on saying "authentication failed" I don't know how to solve this.
It first wouldn't even allow to register...even after they said that I could and even after I had managed to do so it now keeps giving me authentication errors.
It was really working well awesome app until I tried logging in today says now put your password in the read blocks , iv tried but keeps saying its wrong. You should tell us if you change things on the app.
Works very well and easy just like your online banking. But if you are in areas where some cellphone signals are weak (although yours work) the app will fail your transaction. Which is frustrating. Otherwise...great!
I have various other bank apps installed coz I have a few different accounts. This one is by far the easiest to operate and it gives the best feedback. Easy to setup and doesn't require you to be on a PC to link a new device. Works perfectly on my Samsung S3, Note3 and S7Edge.

Irritating, complex, confusing, cluttered. Couldn't even figure out how to buy electrity
The app keeps on telling me. "Authentication Failed. Please try again"... I've tried more than 10 times to logon still not able to!!!
The app keeps giving an error message (null). What does this mean? I've tried several times to register but no success. This is very annoying and frustrating!
I don't know what you've done to your banking app. But it's gone from being a reasonably easy app to work with to a cluttered "let's try to get as much as we can on the screen" mess. Instead of making it easier to work with, it's became cluttered and difficult to use. For instance, scrolling through the list of transactions in an account is the most frustrating exercise with the transfer funds button at the bottom and half the screen at the top taken by the balance details. Frustrating experience!
5000 rand a month is too much for R1900 n for a mistake. n still not recovered .thanks for nothing

Fix your stupid bloody app...i cant enter a email adress to forward proof of payment...useless..does not show a cursor in next field..you dont know where you are on the screen...keeps giving me try again error when trying to do a simple airtime purchase..And your interface could do with a more user friendly approach..look at other sites to get the idea...FNB..way ahead..your app sucks. ..

Useless app. Perhaps if they paid their technicians an amount proportionate to the banking fees it might work ALWAYS FREEZES WHEN YOU NEED IT
