BARBRI Bar Review

Totally useless. This app only allows a very limited access to the Barbri contents. If you'd like to do your assignments and personal homework then you must do them on your computer as this app does not provide access to your personal study plan.

The app doesn't sync with the rest of my online test results. The layout and usability are truly awful, especially given the tiny amount of functionality available via the app. Seeing as Barbri is a seriously expensive bar review course, this is truly the worst app experience I've had, ever. Basically useless. Very disappointing given the level of promotion that is done around portability and availability on different platforms.

I'm on a Samsung Galaxy tab 3 lite, and this app works flawlessly. I can download lectures easily (audio only) and handouts are available by selecting the "view" button next to the video. They aren't available on every lecture, though. So keep that in mind. There are plenty of study questions and explanations. Many are repeats from the course, but it still helps to read the explanations again. Answers can be synced to your main account, and they are used to track your progress in those nifty charts.

All it says when i log in is no content available

You might as well download the video because the "audio only" files are really videos that just say "Play audio only" and won't open in non-video players (which means you have to leave the screen on to play the content and can't access the outlines unless you've pre-printed them). You can only sign in to one device total, even if you own both devices. No access to personal study plan. Useless unless you're tied to a desk with a laptop.

Can't log in. Says app has stopped or that I'm logged in elsewhere. Pls fix

I sign in with Facebook for 4 weeks, then download the app. Can't sign in that way. Now must retrieve user name and password. Won't do that. Unable to take advantage of this feature. Fix it.

Unfortunately, I must agree with other reviewers. Beyond using Barbri Amp I find this app useless. If the lectures would actually play...that'd be great!

Just downloaded it and wanted to see if I could listen to a lecture while exercising. Unfortunately that seems impossible as I can't even sign in without the app crashing. I guess it's hard to make a decent app...

Cmr (answers in an outline) locks at only the start of the explanation. Can't scroll down. Terrible glitch!

I mostly use the Barbri app for the lectures while I run. The lectures are well made and as entertaining as law lectures can be. However, there is no native audio player in the app, so you're constantly fiddling with external players, losing your place, and such. However, since I didn't pay for Barbri primarily for the app, it's all bonus.

On my Android (S5), when looking at an answer to a question, then clicking the CMR links, it won't let you scroll up or down to look at other applicable black letter law. It "ties" it to that particular point you where looking at (and only that point, even if there are other elements/points you might want to look at above or below).

I've never had this problem before but I got a new phone and now the app won't let me download a video onto my phone. I've tried multiple times and have perfect signal its really frustrating

I have an earlier Android phone that is basic, and I use it to review tests and listen and view lectures.

I logged on and there is no content at all except the demo.

Ok for my phone but hard to use on my tablet. Would be great if there was a tablet version or just fix the rotation issue.

Listen to lectures in the car or on the treadmill! Study questions on your phone too for MBE or the MPRE!

I was initially skeptical that this app had any real value. But, I find myself using it--rather than my laptop or PC--to watch lectures and take practice MBE questions. Your answers are synced online, and there are explanations right after every question. My only complaints regard the lack of AMPs and that the text for the explanations of practice MBE questions is tiny. FYI, I'm using a 7" tablet, so that may affect resolution, and thus text size.

Actually make that 100% of the time. Would be nice to actually use this on the train home from class to complete my homework. Also, does not have AMP integrated yet.

I use (or try to use) this app to listen to lectures as I drive to work and class. However, simply listening audio portion of the lectures (without video) requires your screen to be on at all times. The app won't run in the background, so you can't even check your email without stopping the lecture. It's obnoxious. The lectures are good but the app is bad. As of 1/17/13, only the 1L & 2L material is available, meaning a lot BAR review material is not yet available.
