The Tafhim-ul-Quran is a translation and explanation of the Qur'an by Abul Ala Maududi. He spent 30 years writing his Tafsir (1942-1972). The translation was first written in Urdu, but is now available in several languages. This app is an effort to spread the great work on Qur’an by Syed Moududi.
Elegant Arabic and Urdu fonts, full screen mode and complete portrait and landscape support makes the Qur’an reading experience enjoyable.

I have been using various applications and I found it the most useful. I encourage people to download audios, after listening you will start appreciating more. My son is using this application for his O level exam preparation.

The app is very useful and informative but some audio are not working like 1) Ad-Dukhan Ruku-4 2) Al-Hujraat Ruku-3 3) Al-Mumtahina Ruku-3 Theas audios cant download from any servers and developer is not answer of my mail poor after sale service Yusuf Sent from Samsung Galaxy S Ⅲ

Am using android 2.3.6 Punchuations 4 arabic text r not showing.urdu text is breaking in parts. There should b trial version of this app so that one can test it before purchasing

Asslam o alaikom Dear I am listening Tafheem ul Quran. That's great work and great affort. May ALLAH bless you all. But I have found a mistake here. Surah dhudha(93) has different tafseer in audio(surah 92). I hope you will be correct it. Allah Hafiz Ahmad Sadiq

I downloaded this App today and was really excited about it. Unfortunately the audio in the voice of Sheikh Mishary bin Rashid Alafasy is not working. Every time I tried to dowload it it gave an error as, java.io.IOException:Prepare failed.: status=0xFFFFFFFC. i AM NOT WORRIED ABOUT THAT I PAID FOR THIS APP. However, I was so much looking forward to listen the recitation in the voice of Sheikh Mishary. Please help me in fixing this problem, Its a Pious work and ALLAH will give you so much Jaza. I was unable to download complete Sura Ar Rad and despite several back and fourth correspondence the ptoblem was NOT FIXED. Last of all I stopped receiving even a response from Baqa.

It puts everything in one place conveniently. It can become even more amazing if the english text of the tafsir for reading is added (instead of just the translation). Audio of the quran plus urdu tafsir and translation already makes it worth it!

This app is excellent but what would make it more fluid is an option to download all the audio files with a singke click. Because it is a bit difficult to download every single ruku at a time. Keep an option to download individually plus an option to download complete audio.
