Bang & Olufsen for Android
The hardware has so much capabilities and is a class of it's own BUT the software just could not bring the best out of it. What a shame! I won't be adding any new B&O product for now until the software is on par with it.
Disappointing app. Difficult to find your way around, inconsistent performance, speakers fail and have to be reset. Regret buying B&O system, would have been better staying with my old wired system.
Takes a bit of time to get used to it. Mainly the 'link' navigation I found a bit cumbersome. I wish I could change the speaker groups on the TV's thru it. Also the app should display my favorites in the same order as it is in Deezer.
Like most things from B&O absolutely terrible and impossible to get and help or support
Basic and temperamental app which is not up the quality I expected from B&O
Full of bugs and not at all intuitive. Hardly ever works with multiroom.
Sometimes I cant connect to my Beoplay through this app and have to connect directly through Spotify. Its cool when it works though.
Such a disgrace. The fact that equipment worth thousands of dollars has to work with this app makes this entire company junky. Cannot suffle, multi room sucks, playlist are limited to 200 songs. On an on. B&O can't find a college graduate to write them an app? And still they sell speakers for thousands and tens of thousands of dollars. Unreal.
Used to be able to "cast" but can no longer do this. Been waiting a month + for issue to be fixed.
The app has improved a lot since last year. It's easier to use and looks better. Plus you get the multiroom experience.
set up was problematic and Bluetooth can cut out sometimes..beosound 2 is awesome though.
This app lets me configure my Beoplay M5 far more than the Beoplay app that the manual told me to use
Works very well. I am used to Sonos and this app is much more stable
Much improved app. Vastly more usable
Works well with sufficient features
Love Deezer on it
Hvorfor helvede skal man oprette en konto for at parre to højttalere til multiroom? Sådan noget skal da 'bare virke'... Endnu en gang skuffer B&O
Awesome update - will be perfect when BS9000 support to move CDs is added via text ML/NL converter!
No access to musics stored in Android library. I think this is a weakness for this App.
It is a little slow. No option to remove bloat (features in the GUI that I don't use). No option to simply switch to Bluetooth as the source. You have to manually switch off line-in sensitivity to be able to keep a Bluetooth connection when having a optical cable inserted(even when the optical source is turned completely off). The Bluetooth connection can be horrible unstable - Works fine with phone, but I'm still trying to make a stable connection from a laptop 4 meters away... This review is based on BL20 and BSCore. No tutorial, manual or readme supplied or available (probably because the software isn't finished yet)
It's much better than the old one, but is still lacking some features. For instance, you shouldn't have to go all the way into product setup to activate an alarm. And why do I need to open spotify in order to play music whereas deezer and tunein are integrated in the B&O app? Looking forward to the next update!
Does not work with A8
simply won't find my beoplay a8. even after resetting to factory settings. as useless as the former setup app.
I am very pleased with the app, highly recommended.
The B&O thought police seem to think that all that is needed is "favourite albums "etc. Wrong, I want to be able to see an artist in alphabetical order like all other apps Why is this so difficult for such a premium priced product? Verdict: Must try harder B&O!
Wonderful app. Works very well for me, both with my old and new B&O products. I'd like to have a search function of the DLNA content.
B and O are beautiful but you can't actally use their products because they just can't do software. Hopeless. An absolute waste of money. Can't believe I spent thousands on vaguely attractive bits of of metal that you can't actually use to play music.
My initial review expressed a lot of disappointments, but bless BO, they've been listening. The app still has reconnectivity issues, but a lot of other bugs and feature issues have been addressed. I look forward to get more improvements and a higher rating.
So disappointed with this. I have two A6 speakers and had so much trouble linking for multiroom use I gave up and relied on Bluetooth connectivity individually. Now this doesn't work properly - errors on their software when connecting, and just told to try later. Dropouts.
After upgrade to Oreo, Android 8.0 on Pixel XL, it stopped working, not able to discover my beoplay A9 speaker. Thanks to Google home It can still play music on A9. But I can't from app
Really bad app... I'm scanning products but it's saying there are no any products but on iPad it's working
! Not able to sign in, wrong email,or password! Useless
This application is a mess of instability. Not correct.
still ridiculously slow and buggy
Craggy. drops music mid track.... Poor
I have been patient in awaiting for the latest upgrade then when it finally arrived was very disappointed and frustrated to learn that they had not resolved the long standing issue of no DLNA or access to my own music. I feel we are constantly being fobbed off and appreciate some honest answers as to when we will finally be able to listen to our own music
Works great and is very easy to use. Just wondering if there's plans to add in Spotify integration?
How come this app has less functionality from the previous one? How do play music from my phone library?
This app is a great improvement on the beomusic app that caused more problems than it ever resolved. Perhaps after 2 years of owning a music system it might finally work as advertised? Awaiting full version, hopefully not too long now, instead of a beta.

I agree with many of the reviews here. Too many bugs, and some features are way too troublesome to click through. What irritates me the most is that you have to actually open the spotify app, and that you have to press your way through 7 (!!) Pages to get to the alarm. I love the speakers, so I just hope improvements will be made to the app...
