About Roadie Tuner

Tune your guitar quickly and accurately, and keep your strings fit with the built-in health check. Roadie is the ultimate guitar tool.

Roadie Tuner is an automatic tuner for guitars, ukuleles and other instruments. Roadie Tuner hardware connects via Bluetooth low energy with this app, for more info please visit our website www.roadietuner.com

While beginner musicians need a simple way to overcome the frustration of making their instrument sound good, more advanced players value the precision, speed, and ability to quickly switch between customizable alternate tunings.

Roadie can fine tune your guitar in a few seconds or completely change tuning in less than a minute. The tuning process with Roadie Tuner is three times more accurate than the human ear.

Designed by musicians for musicians. Its beautiful, minimal and intuitive interface makes tuning a pleasure and gets you ready for making music.

Note: In order to connect to Roadie, all you have to do is turn Roadie on and launch the app (Roadie will then show a solid blue light). No bluetooth pairing is needed.

Ever since the latest update it always crashes when using sequential tune after tuning 2 stings. Very frustrating. Please fix, it has been broken for a very very long time.

App For guitar 0nly... Not for Bass.

X70%

I have never had an issue with its performance once I adjusted the volume in the app. I've owned for over a year and a half now and love it. Only thing I would change would be to add Bass as well.

Y70%

Greatest tuner I've ever owned. I use a bunch of weird open tunings to play in and this thing makes traveling with one guitar a dream.

This dam thing kept malfunctioning with a string of error messages until it finally broke the A string. Not ready for public use.

Just bought,I'm old-school so this is very strange and new for me. So far the wind -unwind is great,so much better then & Faster then a hand wonder. So just that alone. Is great especially for 12 string guitars. Or if your changing strings on many guitars at once. It will take a little getting use to. But once in use to it. It should be. Game changer!.Aloha

I use this tuner all the time. I have all my tunings setup and I switch between them in seconds .

Went through first calibration. Tuner decides to go rogue and I get slapped in the face by a broken string before I can react. 10/10 would pay 100 dollars get slapped again.

Wont tune accurately. Snapped strings. Hope there's a way to make it work since i spent so much money on it

Occasional Bluetooth issues, but I fixed these by clearing Bluetooth cache. I don't know how I ever restrung my guitar before. Love it

A great app and tuner. I play the guitar since 1994 and tuning my instrument has never been easier.

The roadie is very cool, don't get me wrong. Just seems a bit clumsy and less versatile having to plug in your electric + adaptor to work. Should have vibration-based technology like modern clip on tuners and Bluetooth that data between roadie and app.

I am really happy with my roadie. I have both apple and android devices, and it works wonderfully with both. I should make note to others using android devices: on my nexus 4, you may think it's not connecting to your roadie through Bluetooth, but you need to have an instrument profile made and opened before it connects fully and the light turns solid blue. It won't connect if you simply have the app open. Anyway, thought I'd share, perhaps save someone else the hassle of thinking it's not working. Enjoy!

Biggest waste of time and money I've experienced in a long while. Roadie doesn't fit properly on the pegs of my guitar, causing it to just constantly tighten my strings and therefore is now a glorified paperweight.

O70%
by O####:

Hasn't crashed per se but hasn't consistently connected with the device either, which is kinda the point. Tuning manually works, so why waste time and money getting the actual tuner? Maybe mine's a lemon. But even so, not worthwhile.

M70%
by M####:

Works great and it has the ability to change to non-standard tunings easily.

Roadie tuner is my companion in my gig bag! It makes it so easy to switch tuning between songs. The calibration process is a bit hectic but its good it only need to be done once.

N70%
by N####:

The software does exactly what it is supposed to, but the peg connector is too large for the tuning pegs on my mandolin. I have had to add a piece of cardboard around my tuning peg to get the peg connector to fit. Perhaps a snap on adapter for the peg connector, so that it fits smaller tuning pegs is in order. It would be a more elegant solution than the cardboard I currently need to make this device work properly.

Bar none my favorite tuner anywhere. No, it isn't perfect for every guitar. But for most guitars with decent tuners, this is by far the best tuning tech on the planet.

You gotta buy the gadget first to use this. But it's very accurate and fairly quick. It can be a tad cumbersome while tuning acoustics, because you have to sit your phone on your leg so it can hear what your picking. The 12 string module only has the option for standard tuning, but you can add alternate tunings and save them. The 6 string module has some alternate tunings but not all. You'll have to add some (for example open E tuning not included). Due to the lack of alternate tunings pre-programmed I only gave it 4 stars. If it had all tunings for all instruments, I would have given it 5 stars.

Just bought the Roadie Tuner. The tuner is visible on my Nexus 5 and Nexus 7, but will not pair. I tried this on a Galaxy Note 2 and iPhone 4 as well, and these devices did not even see the tuner.

I tried manually tuning my guitar, and it took a few minutes of trial and error. With roadie tuner, it took approximately one pluck on each string and I was done. Go on with your bad self Roadie!

Just got the roadie for Christmas and it connected wirelessly to my phone no problem. However, during calibration, roadie wound the g string (which was in relatively new condition) so tight that it snapped. I don't trust this thing to tune my guitars!

When it doesn't crash, works flawlessly. Am impressed. Hopefully this latest update fixes the frequent crashes on my Galaxy S4. Also really needs a "capo" feature so I don't need to add a custom tuning every time I use a capo on a different fret.

Since the recent update my Roadie seems to be working great again (it wasn't tuning the G string correctly). 4 stars for now, if it continues to work good for a few weeks I'll give it 5 again.
