PToll™ is an application users can download to register and pay for travel on toll roads. PToll™ is available for use in Texas and Seattle, WA. PToll™ should be expanding to other areas in the future. Check back often for an updated list of toll operators that accept PToll™ or contact feedback@ptoll.com.

Using the PToll™ App
1. DOWNLOAD APP Users download the app to their Android device.
2. CREATE ACCOUNT Create an account by entering their email address and creating password.
3. REGISTER PAYMENT Register a payment mechanism - PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover.
4. TAKE LICENSE PHOTO Using your phone or camera enabled Android device, take a photo of the entire back of your vehicle from the left side bumper to the right side bumper, including a clear, readable image of the license plate.
5. DRIVE ROAD Users can now use Austin area toll roads. The toll road operator will take a picture of the back of user’s vehicle and associate the license plate with the account on file and payment mechanism registered. The user is charged the toll amount. The user is only charged when using the toll road.
If you currently have a TxTAG but would like the convenience of using PToll™, you MUST contact your TxTAG or toll tag customer service provider and request to have your tag cancelled/account closed, and ask to end-date the license plate associated with your TxTAG account. After your end date, all tolls will be charged via PToll™ along with the PToll™ 15% convenience fee.

BEWARE! I have $60 of fees for tolls not paid. Never worked. Sam Houston toll way Houston Texas. Nothing ever appeared on ptoll. If they are willing to fix the app and repay me the fees I'll give them 5 stars. Until then BEWARE! Btw pic of plates and rear of truck looked perfect and in the day time. So that was not the issue.

We all know how crooked the toll system is here. This app helps us avoid late charges and lame charges when their toll tag doesn't even catch your passing. This app catches is.. most of the time. Once on a while a toll slips through but ptoll has always taken care of it.

Support is horrible, sometimes your tolls get paid sometimes they don't. When you contact PToll you get a canned answer, never any real help to fix the issue.

I now have 30 bucks in past due tolls that I have already paid ptoll for! And to top it off they don't have a customer service phone number.

Have tried three times to confirm payment - isn't going through, keeps getting stuck. Crap app.

Here is why I'm giving it 1 star. First, the installation kept hanging and crashing. I had to wipe it clean and do it a few times before it worked. Second, I took a picture of my license plate which was actually quite clear and legible, but whoever approved it and recorded (not sure if person or computer) my license plate number in messed up 1 digit. I proceeded on my trip and was subsequently billed the $1 processing fee. I'm convinced that the toll folks intentionally do this to make some extra money. DOUBLE CHECK that your license plate is properly recorded on your account, otherwise registering does absolutely no good. You also should do this days before you take plan on going through the tolls.

Changed phone to Galaxy 3 and reinstalled mid-Nov. Everything loaded properly and phone registered. Have not traveled on toll road yet, so no comment on billing.

Sooo much better than TX tag! I don't mind small increments of money conning out of my account vs all at once, once a month. You just have to get used to not seeing the tolls you've gone through all in the same day. I don't care about that because I know my account is active. When sending an email customer service gets back to you in a timely manner, is friendly, and answers any questions you have. I really don't have any complaints!
