MLB At Bat for Android
Great! Now instead of NO audio, I get audio for about 2 minutes before it crashes. What a joke.
Stops every 5 to 10 minutes or when screen turns off. Hurry up and Fix this problem !
On Android 8.1, I cannot scroll through the videos list without the first video I touch to start playing. I can't view anything else.
Fix the glitches. You can't even scroll thru the video screen without it choosing the first video you touch on the screen while you are trying to scroll. Terrible.
Audio keeps freezing even though it looks like it is playing. The connection is good but I keep having to switch feeds back and forth to keep it playing.
I am a MLB TV premium subscriber and should have access to ALL games, not just out of market since that's what I am paying an annual fee for. Please end this antiquated black out nonsense.
I love this app but every time I try to play the audio feed of a game now, I can't go to ANY other page or app or do anything on my phone without ye feed cutting out in seconds. It completely ruins it. If this is fixed or someone can help me so it works right again the app is 4 or 5 easily
Every time I get an update for this app I am hopeful that previous issues are fixed. Instead, I am disappointed to find ridiculous new issues. This time, its the video highlight page. I can only watch the first 2 highlights for each game because when I try to scroll down it instead thinks I am clicking on a highlight. I really hope this is fixed soon as I use the video highlights almost daily. Well, I used to...
I cannot get through a full inning of a game whether it is audio only or video. It constantly pops up that the app is not responding. I have sent in so many reports that the app just doesnt respond that I have gotten tired of reporting. I am paying for the service that I cannot use on the app because it keeps freezing.
I wanted to purchase the premium version so I can listen/watch my team play ball. But after reading many reviews of bugs & audio, video cutting out I've decided not to purchase the premium until bugs are fixed & reviews can confirm it. Sad.
Android app needs dvr functionality and start from beginning option of live broadcasts.
Constantly crashing, low quality, performs poorly.
I'm really hoping this is just a a matter of needing to get the bugs out. I tried listening to a spring training game, and the audio feed cut out every 10 minutes or so. If I turned on the screen and unlocked it, it would start again. Also, in previous years, when listening to audio, there would be a bar in the pull down menu that could control play/stop, etc. This year you must go into the app itself. I've loved using this in previous years to listen to game while I'm at work, and I really hope this is fixed before the season begins.
Used this for three years now and all of a sudden this year just listening to radio broadcast drains my battery. Listened to around a game and a half today and my pixel said it used 51% of my battery. That needs fixed. Other then that the audio does stop sometimes on radio broadcast like others had mentioned, but it's great for watching games on your phone.
I didn't think it was possible to make this app worse but that's exactly what they did with the newest version. Audio cuts in and out. Live updates lag big time. Videos won't play properly and constantly buffer when they do, even if connected to Wi-Fi. I'm basically paying for AM radio at this point. May as well just but a cheap radio from best buy
I previously gave this app a low score for deceptive advertising..ie you're out of memory or you have 5 viruses. I'll reserve judgement but so far this season I'm not getting those adds. Unfortunately, I'm not raising my rating because this version is sooooooo slow. Even with wide-open WiFi. Finally, I had to shut off notifications because, even when I set notifications for just one team, the app was constantly sending me notices; few of which had anything to do with my team. It was so annoying, I had to turn off notifications completely.
Not loading my local audio games. Paid for a year of service. I tried the last two days. Just says connecting and nothing happens. Used this app for years with no issues. Its not my network, doesn't matter if I'm on 4g or WiFi. Fix it or refund please. Still, 1 week into spring training and cannot listen to games....VERY ANNOYED
Having similar issues with new update as other reviewers. Audio cuts out after a few seconds. Only starts again when you return to app in phone. Cuts out in both sleep and waking modes. Also, the lack of audio control (play/pause) outside of the app is a terrible update.
Love everything about the app but this year's version stinks. Can't login (unable to connect to server), says my game does not exist, then when game does exist it refuses to get my audio feed running. You can do better MLB. Your subscribers are expecting changes to come soon!
How is this app going to be play live games if it can't even load a simple 30 second highlight from spring training? This should never happen on something that costs $25 a month. Time to cancel the season package.
App will NOT WORK on Samsung smart TV. Model #J5200 is good on the website list so update should work. Deleted & reinstalled multiple times. Try to watch ANY live game and it 1st says I am not a premium subscription (which I am & have been for 4 years) Log out, then log back in and try again to watch ANY live game and the only thing it loads is the red white & blue mlb logo. After a few minutes it reads "the event will begin shortly" even tho it had already started long before. Sub renews on Feb28th & I am FORCED to cancel it. Thanks MLB.TV YOU SUCK!!!
App keeps crashing when I try to play audio. When it doesn't crash, it just says "Connecting to feed." Also won't sign me in to my MLB account. Please fix! I've subscribed for 2 years but won't again if I can't use the app.
Last season audio stuttered and would drop out regularly. Decided to give it another shot this season. Days after paying I still don't have access to the audio streams and have heard nothing from customer support about my claim.
The 2018 update is terrible! Not able to connect to audio feeds, app constantly crashes too when trying to open a video feed. The notifications don't work either. I have requested a refund. Very disappointing.
This is normally a good app. However, since Spring training started none of the radio broadcasts have worked. I pay for this subscription and the main thing I use it for is the radio broadcasts. Sent an email with no response. When people pay for a service, failing to provide it, or even acknowledge/respond to the problem is unacceptable.
I don't know what happened, maybe it's slow because it's spring ball or something but this needs fixed big time. Last season was perfect. Now App force closes any time i try to watch live games. Not able to listen to any feeds. Terrible, gonna give them a little to fix these bugs before i have to unsubscribe unfortunately
I have been a subscriber for 6 years, and now with the '17 update the app won't continuously play game day audio when connected to WiFi, instead you have to reconnect every 30 seconds, or just use your data even though you are on a high speed WiFi connection which truly defeats the purpose of having a WiFi enabled app. Now with the 2018 spring update it won't connect to any audio feeds making a paid subscription pretty useless
App works good, my issue is with the score widget. It works great on my work phone (S5), but it will not do anything on my personal phone (Note 8). Not sure if it is an app issue or the phone? I have tried many things to fix the problem and nothing works.
Normally I don't do this but last year loved the app worked flawlessly. This year after a singular update I can't watch any spring training game, the app just crashes. Gonna give it a week for this to fix itself but doubt I'll continue my subscription if I can't watch what I pay for
Why can't I (and so many others) not be able to listen to ANY Spring Training games? I even called the customer support # contained in the app. Tech support I talked to was less than helpful and refused to answer why it wasn't working. Plus, he had to be reminded several times to SPEAK INTO THE PHONE! Rating will improve and comment changed once games can be listened to again.
The app is nice and informative, but since the last update scrolling on a galaxy S8 is terrible. Scroll up and it automatically scrolls back down or jumps around. The app is still very slow and no video will play. A lot of bugs need to be fixed here. 2 stars down from my previous review as I subscribed and videos still don't play.
On my 3rd season with At Bat and never had a problem. This year, updates almost daily of late and it's pretty clunky with audio like listening to radio in 1986. Sometimes change isn't good.
It will not keep the radio playing if my screen on my phone goes dark. The only way I can listen to the game is if I sit on my butt and stare at my phone and keep the screen on. I can't just set it and listen to it while working. What idiot decided it was a good idea to require you to stare at your phone in order to listen to the game?
Update for 2018 Spring Training: For some reason the audio shuts off when my screen times out and goes to black. I don't recall this happening last year I would have given the app 5 stars except for the fact that there is not an option in the settings to turn off the notification light. The blinking light doesn't even turn off with the do not disturb mode for the phone. I love being waken up in the middle of the night by a continually blinking blue light due to an At Bat notification coming in. Please make an option to be able to disable the notification light!
I am unable to play any videos on this app. It is incredibly frustrating, and even worse since I paid for a subscription. Please fix. If I could I would give this app 0 stars.
I love the MLB app, and love being able to watch all out of market games using my MLB tv subscription. The only thing that bothers me is the app setup on my two different devices. My Samsung Note 8 shows all the main categories on the left side tab, including my favorite teams' profiles. However, on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A, the left side tab doesn't offer the "Stats", "Teams", or favorite team profiles as an option. I don't understand why those categories aren't an option on the tablet. I have made sure it's up to date and tried seeing if it could be fixed in settings, but it can't. I would love a response from MLB Advanced Media, L.P. to see if there is a way to fix this. Other than the issue on my tablet, the app is outstanding. (Screenshots can be provided for further clarification if requested)
The streaming quality on Chromecast is miserable. Year after year, I continue to hope it will get better, but it's clear from spring training that the problem hasn't been resolved. I have gigabit Internet and a good Asus router, so the connection shouldn't be an issue. It's not a problem with any other streaming app I use.
Annoying to have to keep proving you paid for premium. They don't have a problem taking my money every month but when it comes to providing the service I paid for? Hold on to your reciept is all I can say.
Unable to access broadcasts. App just buffers, useless. Will cancel when sub is up in May. Has worked flawlessly in past years. What happened?

Lots of "game not found" errors. Maybe pre-season kinks that need working out?
