FyI if anyone is seeing ads when they own the donate app uninstall and reinstall the donate app. Fixed my problem!

When you start asking for more permissions than you actually need you lose people who know better. You can not even credibly justify the two recent permissions you asked for. Farewell to what was once a great app..........

It's most useful podcast player for me. And now this app is more better than before.

Very capable app, but requires a PhD to use. Just want to do simple things like play consecutive episodes, or find them :(

It took me a second to understand the platform, but once I started looking for my favorite podcasts tgere they were. Wide variety of podcasts. I love it!!

Pretty much just search your podcast. It will update you on new episodes. I only wish it could store data on the SD card so I'm not choosing between internal memory and mobile data.

Don't mess around. Best app for podcasts on the market. I've tried them all. This by far gets me the content the fastest and easiest way possible. Every morning I queue it up and I'm ready for the day

After new update it freezes every 15 seconds while navigating around the app. Freezes while playing podcasts often.

This is the best podcast app for Android that I've found. I've been using it for 3 years and it just keeps getting better. Worth paying for the ad-free version, just to support the developer.

Love this app. It allows you to easily find and subscribe to podcast shows. Very handy and easy to use. I have already referred this app to all my email subscribers and listeners of my show.

Latest update broke ALL remote controls on my BT headphones.

Excellent tool

Easily the best software on Android for managing the many podcasts I subscribe to. The UI is clean and easy to navigate and the developer does something I wish more devs would do...a changelog popup every time the app is updated! That way I always know what to expect. I've been using the free version for more than a year and honestly forgot there were ads, as they are very unobtrusive. These reasons alone convinced me to donate. Thanks for a great product and keep up the good work!

Immediately after I downloaded it I had the impression that it was complicated. It took a while to gather the courage to learn how to customize the app so it does what I want it to, but now it does its job perfectly. (Some settings are really hidden away. I had some trouble finding how to put the rewind button in the notification player, but got a fast response from the developer - so thanks!) Still, I love that I can tinker about with so many things, I wouldn't change that about it. I use it daily and it's amazing that it's so stable and highly customizable. Good job!

On the surface, PA makes it easy to find and subscribe to podcasts. One you dig into the personalization options, though, the app reveals a sophisticated and constantly evolving tookit to create your own dynamic radio station. Looking at their version history also tells the story of a devolper that listens and responds to requests and ideas often in the very next release.

Podcast Addict is my favorite (and most-used) app, by far! It makes my commute to work so much more enjoyable. The developer, Xavier, is very responsive. He worked with me to resolve a metadata issue with my in-car bluetooth (which was actually caused by a bug in Android OS). I purchased the Donate app today. Thanks for creating such a useful app!

Easy to use, simple to find, add and delete podcasts, and lots of options to customize. What's not to like? Thanks we only thing I'd like to see is the option to set the air order differently for each podcast. Minor point though, thus is a great app.

Edit: Indeed it seems like it's the internal player that is having issues, even after a full reboot. The audio file is fine, and is not corrupted. The app itself was great, back when it the internal audio player was working! Have adjusted the rating accordingly. Original: Error handling is cryptic. I get internal player errors, even for podcasts I've successfully downloaded

First time I d,loaded the app it didnt work too well . I uninstalled it and recently went back and gave it another try. Its working like a dream now and for a free podcast app its brilliant. Tune in can ffin do one !

Best podcast app I've found so far. Would like YouTube playback in the internal play though. Kind of makes the function pointless if it's going to open up YT anyway. Otherwise great app. Probably buy the donate version soon.

Very comprehensive, but doing simple things can be quite complicated. I still haven't found out how to set the app to download new episodes without needing to open the app and hit a button. I'd like it to always have the latest subscribed episodes, even if I've not owned the app before getting on a plane.

Great app. Has access to every podcast I could ever want. Only downfall is it Skips forward and backward in time a half second once or twice an episode. It is extremely annoying to miss a word or 2.

I was not a podcast addict until I started using Podcast Addict. In fact, I had never even listened to a podcast before downloading this app. But I really wanted to check out "Welcome to Night Vale," and now I'm sucked into several other podcasts. The app makes it so easy to find new things to listen to, and it's almost overwhelming just how much you can customize your experience, down to the smallest detail. If you can't afford to pay to go ad-free, at the very least, turn on both options for advertising. The ads don't take away from the experience, but I'm sure they help the developer, who has obviously spent a ton of time on this app, because it is amazing. And it's amazing that it's still free. Love, love, love this app. (Totally not sponsored review, just a great app :) )

Works great. Automatically puts JW Watchtower & Awake articles in order, which many players don't do. Lets me change the order of episodes in the playlist however I want. Good at finding new podcasts for me. Only complaint: some of the ads (for games) are slightly violent or provocative, which make me reluctant to show my phone to other people when using this app.

Good for downloading podcasts. However , playback quality depends on the your device's built-in player. If your device's​ software has major issues (like the Axon 7) your experience with any number of apps that use the built-in software may suffer.

It was good so I bout the premium version and after the latest update it erased all of my info and now I have to find all of my stuff and re subscribe to everything. A bit inconvenient when I use this app every night at work. Other than that it is a great app.
