Upgraded my Note 4 to a Note 8. Now Notification Listener will not even open! Tried to uninstall so I could reinstall, but it won't uninstall! I have several Tasker routines that will not work now because Notification Listener stopped working. Edit: I mean I did that and nothing happens. It won't uninstall. Edit: Uninstalled finally after about twenty minutes. Weird. I'll see if it works now after uninstalling.

Was working before Oreo update. Sometimes crashes and shows an error in the notification drawer. Still works most of the time.

Recent update broke notification access on Oreo

Works as expected. Great plugin

The variable %nlbigtext is not filled... how can I then access to the whole text of a notification with multiple lines?? %nllines() doesn't contain the lines either (Whatsapp in-box style notification)...

Ottima app e ottimo supporto da parte dello sviluppatore!

Encounter null error when performing query. It can be resolved temporarily if I reboot my phone. But after some time, it comes back again. Update: downgraded the Google app, and it's working. Looks like Google app 7.2 messes up with notifications

Is an excelent idea, the documentation is not so good, you should post the profiles most used somewhere, for example for read aloud a whatsapp message for only the last message and not everything that has not been read.

This plugin is much better than Tasker's in-built notification service. This plugin has literally made made my life easier.

It actually works very well so far. This new version fixed the issue of limit of 5 lines notifications so I give it now 5 stars as long as it continues to give no problems ;) My phone is a moto G with kitkat 4.4.4 and the latest Tasker ;)

NEW REVIEW: I purchased the "pro" version because I've been enjoying this plugin for quite some time, and I don't want to be a freeloader. To my surprise, there are some awesome upgrades. Toasts as a condition!? Are you kidding me!? Amazing!

If you take requests, could you consider setting variables to an empty string when the source does not exist? Currently if you use e.g. %nlticker, this works fine for notifications that have ticker text, but otherwise the literal text "%nlticker" passes through. I use this plugin to read out notifications using TTS, so it's a bit strange having "percent N L text" read out!

Not only does this work exactly as advertised but when I had an issue setting it up the developer responded very promptly to my email.

Unable to create/change the paid parts of the app/tasker tasks when offline. This is ridiculous. It just spits out "Google play error 12 or 6" toasts

Wonderful and very useful app especially for those who want to trigger profiles using notifications. 5 STARS for the app and 5000 STARS for the support. The developer responded to my questions in the official Google+ Group of this app right away. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much!!

But documentation is really, really terse. Could use a lot of improvement, such as a guide with a step-by-step on how to set it up. I eventually got it to do what I wanted (cancelling ad tweet notifications from someone I follow) but took longer than I liked.

Exactly what I needed! Although Tasker could handle a trigger by notification in a task using its own event, it did not work once exported to an app. Notification Listener saved the day! Now I can use my exported app in my other devices to trigger other apps by sending them a Facebook message! Thanks!

I spent 2 hours and couldhn't get tasker or joa's auto notification plug-in (paid) to respond to gtasks notifications even once. NL detected it the first time and populated the title and text variables flawlessly. My only regret is not trying this earlier. Don't need the paid features, but bought it anyway to say THANK YOU!! Another great thing - it does not require internet/phone/sms-send or any other permissions which might be used to communicate my sensitive notification info (which the app must be of course be granted access to - via system security / notification setting - in order to do its function).

Finally a listener that is easy and straight forward to use. You should build more apps. I've had free version for a while but never really used it. Finally I had some downtime and decided to play with it a little. Wow! I was missing out big-time. Instantly bought pro version. Keep up the good work dude.

Hit and miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Restarting Tasker does the job, but it shouldn't be that way.
