***In order to read or write an NFC tag, both NFC sensor and the screen must be ON***
Create an event using Tasker Event->Plugin->Nfc for Tasker. You can create events filtering according tag id.
You can write NFC tags using a Tasker action. With the free version you can write 4 carachters. With the pro version you can even use Tasker's variables.
Note: if your tag is not detected, you can try to format it with the plug. Then try again.
Some tags provide a random ID each time they are read so in this case the id filter doesn't work.

I've tried multiple plugins for Tasker to lock or unlock my phone on NFC tag read and most try and be an automation app themselves or don't work how I want. This plugin is simple, perfect and I had my task set up very quickly. Not sure what the comments about no documentation are about, it's a Tasker plugin, if you don't know how to use Tasker properly that's not this plugins issue.

I wanted a simple tasker plugin for NFC.. And voila, somebody had made one that works well! Yay!

You can't scan the tag that you want to use for your task, you have to enter the I'd itself manually. Pain in the butt. I'm now Looking for a different plugin.
