GeoNote

Do you want to remind yourself to do something the next time you arrive at a location? Want to remind yourself to try a new dish at your local eatery the next time you are here? Leave yourself or others a GeoNote!

OTHER GEONOTE APPS:

The other GeoNotes apps on the Google Play store don't allow you to see notes from anyone else. This GeoNote app allows you to make notes public so you can optionally share notes with others.

This won't alert you when you enter a location - it's not constantly monitoring your location so it can't do that. It'll only check your location when you start the app up. The app is otherwise off all of the time. This keeps the app from draining your battery. If you are looking for an app that will alert you when you enter a location, try "proximity alert" but there is no server aspect to the proximity alert app, only your data, stored on your device. It's a good solution, but not really the same as GeoNote.
