Rota Passos dos Jesuítas

A rota pedestre “Passos dos Jesuítas - Anchieta”, organizada pela secretaria de Turismo do Estado de São Paulo, propõe a redescoberta das riquezas naturais, históricas, culturais, religiosas, e monumentais de cidades do Litoral Paulista de um jeito diferente e todo especial: a pé!

Contemplativo por natureza, o caminho reproduz os passos da presença jesuíta na região na metade do século XVI, marcada sobretudo pela ação catequista e desbravadora de Padre Anchieta.

São 13 municípios envolvidos num percurso de 370 Km de muita beleza, história e fé. “Passos dos Jesuítas - Anchieta” é um convite ao caminhar e, ao mesmo tempo, a conhecer uma das mais belas e acolhedoras regiões do Estado de São Paulo.

The pedestrian route "Steps Jesuit - Anchieta", organized by the Secretariat of Tourism of the State of São Paulo, proposes the rediscovery of natural, historical, cultural, religious and monumental cities of the Litoral Paulista in a different way and all particular: on foot!

Contemplative by nature, the way reproduces the steps of the Jesuit presence in the region in the mid-sixteenth century, especially marked by the action catechist and taming Padre Anchieta.

There are 13 municipalities involved a distance of 370 Km of much beauty, history and faith. "Steps Jesuit - Anchieta" is an invitation to walk and at the same time, to know one of the most beautiful and welcoming regions of São Paulo.
