I liked this on my previous device. Now I have a Galaxy S7 that doesn't have a menu button. I can't access the menu so I can't add apps, or even exit the program.

It doesn't block ads. Not only that but it doesn't stop my toddler from accessing the play store and attempting to buy those ads. Considering play store isn't on the list of apps I allowed what's the point? I purchased it to limit the apps my kid could access so play store would be hidden and it lets him in anyway.

This is a very nice app which I used on kid's tablets. It would be better if the "run at start up" option is added.

Wish I had known about this sooner!

Notifications bar is accessible so that means settings are too, also Google button is accessible so that means the internet is accessible, but it goes back to the app when you try to back out. honestly as long as my toddler can't call anyone, email, or delete anything I'm happy :)

My children are getting into all my settings and the app store and getting frustrated because they don't know what to do to get out. Plus they mess up all my settings and suddenly I'm using all my data/battery life. It's better than nothing so I still use it and I like that they can navigate between approved apps, I just wish it would navigate away from things that aren't approved. Sometimes I'm surprised what they can get into.

This app works mostly for its intended purpose. It does, however, need a way to disable the home button on the phone. If my son presses and holds the home button, the app still allows the Google search screen to open.

Doesn't work on lollipop

I purchased this app assuming when I save apps to the list that they would remain there. No, everytime tablet restarts I have to create the entire list all over and it's not me I am selecting apps from app list then saving afterwards . Please fix very annoying.

It was working for a while but then i bought the app and it stopped working

It worked almost perfectly with KitKat, but now that I was upgraded to Lollipop, you can easily get out of it by holding down home key to go to Google Now screen. Also, notification drop-down is still available with all hardware toggles and actions on apps which have notifications. Needs some work to be usable again.

As someone else mentioned, worked on kitkat, but with lollipop, it's easy to get out of the Child Lock app and use other apps.

Apps on galaxy tab 3 7 inch constantly disappear leaving just 2 apps. I regularly have to re add the same apps over and over again.

Love this app for locking down my device when the kiddos want to use it.

The program works great! Keeps my 13yo using only games and apps I approve of.

Good but to exit the app can be a very slow process

U70%
by U####:

Still lets kids back out of apps accidently(disable soft buttons options would be nice) but at least they can't get to your home screen etc.

D70%

Great idea, however it forcloses a lot. More than I would like. I shouldn't have wasted the money. My 2 year old still manages to get out of the app with soft buttons . =(

Would love an app setting which would put phone in "ultra isolation mode" by automatically turning on airplane mode upon locking - and restoring upon exit. THANKS!

B70%
by B####:

I love this app. It allows my 2 year old charge to play with apps on my phone specifically chosen for him without allowing him to mess with my other apps or make calls. Plus, it keeps all my kid apps in one place and not clogging up my homescreen. I started having trouble with this app after a recent update (kept force closing) and I left a review here saying that I was disappointed. I got an email within 24 hours offering support and ideas to fix it. The app is now working great and I'm very happy. If you're having trouble with the force close issue (force closing like 90% of the time) try disabling ad blocker in settings when it does let you in. That worked for me. I don't need an ad blocker anyway since I only choose child apps that don't have ads, and the developer said he would fix the problem immediately anyway.

Great idea but it doesn't work. Keep having to force close! Uninstall and refund my money.

I love that I can give my daughter free reign of all her games without any worry that she get into MY phone apps. My phone is protected and my child is happy!

Can't believe I ever gave my kids the phone without this.

I installed this app so my kids could play games and nothing else. This app allows kids to open ads and pop ups! Kid lock apps are supposed to play games only, they are supposed to stop kids from doing anything else! The app is useless! I am very angry they charged me for an app that does not do what it is supposed to do!

U70%

Does the job nicely. Just get rid of the extra splash window on exit.

Was working perfectly but now it is constantly crashing!! How do I go about getting a refund?

Y70%
by Y####:

This works wonders. It keeps the lil ones and my phone safe. I am not worrying about them clicking on adverts as this blocks it. Money well spent. This works better then the built in guest/child mode on phones. Only thing to improve is to have the option to make the password invisible as the older ones can see what am typing. People who are complaining about this not being free need to understand the people who made the app worked hard on this and it's only £1 mark what you crying about?

Y70%
by Y####:

It's still crashes after 15-20 min. Have to restart my phone to run it again. But great idea

Y70%

Still crashes and makes my phone freeze

Y70%

Best one i have found, Simple and to the point

Y70%

Great app. Takes the worry out of handing the phone to the little ones. I would love to see a way to lock out the volume controls, though. I'm getting a little tired of listening to angry birds at full blast.
