Learn Polish with Babbel

Very enjoyable easy to understand

Generally very good. I really like having beginner courses and grammar courses. However, I find the vocabulary review frustrating, as it sometimes tests phrases that weren't a core part of beginner learning (eg I am cold today, instead of I am). This means I don't use the review function as much as I'd like to.

Very helpful app. Big flaw that I hope is corrected is when answering some of the grammar questions, my phone doesn't have certain language specific alphabet character so it's impossible to input right answer.

It okay but you pay to learn knowledge should be free

I've been learning polish on and off the past couple of months . Now I need to stick to it as I have a trip planned in april for 3 weeks. I like the fact babbel reminds me to learn when I let it sway abit

Voice recognition needs to be improved massively but it's not important in the learning process (getting it wrong even when it's not wrong helps more actually as it forces you to repeat phrases and words). Very satisfied with the rest and I'm learning faster than I thought I would

We were going to visit friends in Poland (which we are now making an annual trip) and I wanted to learn a bit more Polish before we went. I learned the basics from the app very quickly. The only 2 downsides are that I read the terms as £4.45 a month but the whole amount came out straight away (my misunderstanding) and sometimes the mic doesn't pick up what I am saying properly although I know I am saying it correctly (my Polish friend told me I was). Other than this, great app.

But as speach recognition is poor and the samples are cut off too quickly it wont work on its own. Wish they taught Polish in schools back in 80's. I never see a french or german. Stupid teachers

The design is very streamline with very little to no hang between pages despite the lovely, high quality images. This helps keep momentum going as well as just looking pretty.

Works very well, one thing though, when I use the speech learning tool, I say what I hear it tells me I'm wrong then later on in the lesson someone else says the word or phrase differently from how it was said earlier

Makes your brain work harder by using spelling pronunciation speaking grammar all at the same time and it doesnt have the isolated static learning feel of a classroom. Well structured and thankfully dynamic! Very pleased with it!

More expensive than others. Voice recognition just does not work. You practically need it dead silent. Reviews are useless.

I am really learning well by babble. I can understand people in Poland a bit just after studying two courses and I will continue it for sure.

This course is really well put together. My polish is improving very quickly! And i love the fact that you can go back to a section to recap at any time.

It has a very professional feel and doesn't shy away from the difficult aspects of the language, such as the grammar. It doesn't just teach you a few phrases and a few words, but actually helps you to understand the language and therefore how to use it for yourself.

Such clean exercises. You can even correct your mistakes in a lesson. I hope it continues to impress me.

Really helpful as I have a Polish girl in my class at college, and as I'm trying to learn Polish, then it's gonna help me communicate with her

So convenient to use both at home and on the go. It's fun too!

Too much focus on exact spelling when its more important to just have basic conversations with people.

Simple easy and precise

Well thought out; you can progress through quite quickly, if needed. I am impressed all-round so far. The little 'info/teaching points' given occasionally are a nice touch. Good combination of visual and audio, and a generous amount of free access to lessons. I have now subscribed; there's a good amount of content, but hope more higher level content will be added.

I got this to catch up or go over when I have 10 mins here or there. I used Rosetta stone to learn over last couple of years but I think this may have done just as good a job.

It's nice to be able to learn a language anywhere, anytime. It's fun, fast and easy and I should know enough in 3 months to get around, order food and hold small conversations.

I have tried a few polish apps and it was like being chucked in the deep end when leaning to swim but with babbel it give you great examples its very clear easy to use and you go at you own pace so for me this is perfect plus it's got a thumbs up from my wife who is polish
