The British Airways app makes booking, boarding and accessing everything about your flights easier than ever before. Personalised to you, the app gives you instant access to the information you need, when you need it.

Now up to eight individual mobile boarding passes can fit on just one phone, provided everyone travelling together is on the same booking reference number.

Forced to fly BA as there were no other option. Had to use this app to check in. I gave up flying BA last month as i was charged for a diet coke on a Dusseldorf flight (i am Emerald One World). Over 12 long haul business class flights i did every year with BA, but i realised they are racing to the bottom. Enough is enough, moved to Cathay and American.

Use it for browsing flights (although the website is easier to use if researching anything more complicated). Quick to select and buy a flight, electronic boarding pass is brill, ability to keep an eye on my BAEC status is also very handy. Very happy with what I use it for.

What a terrible app, or more accurately what all systems that sit behind it. Every time you try and perform an action on the app, there's some sort of error. It's so bad, after booking a flight and paying for the ticket, it then tells me that the ticket might not have actually been purchased, and to use a contact form to find out. What an awful user experience.

Used to be fine and functional, but now just doesn't work.... Goes to loading please wait and then stuck with dead screen. Had to check in on website and cannot load account or anything. I want to complain about a flight and I cannot do that!! Fix it now.

Most recent update has completely buggered it up. Can't search for flights without error. Constantly says loading then provides blank page and does nothing. A further damaging cockup destroying a once respected airline. Perhaps time to take my Gold loyalty elsewhere?

It used to work before. Now i cannot check in or get boarding passes which renders it useless. Ive flown BA over 30times this year mainly due to the ease of this app and the facilities and ease of travelling through heathrow T5. Might give Aerlingus a try as they have a new gold circle app and T2 is just around the corner!

Useful app however still room for better customer service; when flights are cancelled the boarding card is hidden while the passenger needs it to move within the airport rather than providing the rebooking help required. Stress free travel, it is not! Similarly 'finding' flight bookings is more difficult than it needs to be since BA knows my membership number which is used on all my bookings. So that should be used to locate the bookings.

Great airline and great app. Easy to book flights and hassle free at airports using the app. Some airports still make you take a paper boarding pass but that's the airport rather than BA insisting on that. I am honestly not sure why other users have had problems. On this HTC it is completely simple to use. Maybe people could stay logged in ? that might solve some of people's issues described ? It is one of my top 5 most useful apps and so gets a place at the top of my home screen.

Tried to check-in. App says in phone passes not available then says other options are available but send me to a blank screen. Manage my booking option also ends in a blank screen. Surely BA can do better!

The app used to work well but it has stopped working properly and is retrieving blank pages. Had to go to the web site to check in or display contact details. Once I had checked in using the web site it did retrieve my bisrdung passes though. Fix these current glitches and it gets more stars.

Has gone downhill. Online check-in seems to take me to a blank white screen today. Two weeks ago it gave me some error and gave me a link which resulted in a 404. The app seems to be constantly "unable to update data" when I open it or try to view flight details. Not really worth installing while so much of it is broken.

Possibly the most bug prone and poorly thoughtout App in the market. If the developers want to contact me i have screen shots of 6 bugs during one simple attempt to book a flight. Which failed with an error message at the end ... very poor, no flight booked.

Very rudimentary compared to it's budget rivals. For example you can only look at flights 2 days either side of your chosen date. All the other apps have slide right / left to view more. I have been a lifelong BA flyer but am honestly ask myself why. Now that there is no in flight service and cramped seating on economy Easyjet is roomier slicker and often half the price

It used to be good but hasn't worked in the last 2 days! Slow to load, can't view or change seat, get boarding pass or get update on flight arrival. What's the point then?!

Now I have an S7, the App is great all the right information and updates. Can someone please advise why the Widget does not update and give me the same information? My flight details keep disappearing and my tier points are wrong, they are correct on the tablet and on line. Old version much better

Rubbish. Apps of the budget airlines are far more advanced. With Easyjet for example you just scan your passport with phone camera and it's done! Even Ryanair is quicker and you can check in earlier...BA are shockingly behind the times with this

Hugely unreliable. Flight search works about 10% of the time, booking and online check in barely any better. For most things I end up going to the website anyway. For a company like BA this is really shoddy.

Could be a lot better. Lots of silly faults. Omce downloaded on my computer I could not also get the app to show the boarding pass. Kept telling me that it could not establish booking status. I had to uninstall the app then re install to get it to work. Just not reliable

Not to useful. App doesn't display more than one itinerary at a time. I have to exist and re-enter record locator for each itinerary. Should be a functionality to toggle between multiple bookings.

If I could kill an app bring it back to life so I could kill it again and then rip it's skin off to burn in firey hell for eternity then I would do it. Never remembers my card, CURRENT address or allows me to book a flight. Stab me with a spoon / choke on my own vomit or make me suffer this buggy app.....

Overly complicated and not built for the simple tasks which travelers require. Login, checkin etc are easier on budget airline apps. You may find it easy to simply login browse and print boarding passes. Let's hope they update this soon.

Crashed when I try to register with the app so I had to use the website. The app also crashes when I try to choose a seat. What is the point of this app? Surely BA can do better than this?

Bugs in seat selection. No alerts. Takes time to load boarding pass, sometimes fails. If your originally reserved seat was in front and subsequently business class was extended backwards to cover your seat, the system does no allow you to select a new seat in the front. Expect to go all the way back. And do not expect BA to handle any complaints speedily. I now waited six months to get compensation for downgraded flight.

App is sometimes better for booking than BA desktop site! Only downside is currently no option on the app to book multi-city or open jaw. Booking reward flights, including on partner airlines, is very easy and quick as well. Runs smoothly, few bugs.

45 Mb download/70-odd Mb installed? Can't you trim some of that bloat? It wouldn't be so bad if there was even a stoke of functionality but all it actually does is serve up offers. Originally, I had to log out to get this miserable excuse to find my bookings, now it doesn't find jack. You should be ashamed of peddling this rubbish.

There are a number of things that can be improved on this app. How about not jumping ahead and screen when one is still selecting the number of bags to be checked? How about making the country connected with the payment card easier to change, so the card does nor get rejected? How about making the options to receive your boarding passes consistent for both departure and return? Those improvements would be nice.

Does exactly what it is meant to. Seems easy and fast the one time I have used it but upcoming business trips mean I shall use it more. Update: 2nd time I tried to use it it would not download my boarding pass. Grrr. Frustrating

I've used to like this app, but the new version with the first screen that prompts you to search and asks to see other things it's very annoying. I would really appreciate if you could just show me my upcoming flight. A lot of times the new version is not working and doesn't let me see the screen with my upcoming flight.

Booking flights and checking in made easy. It used to work if you wanted to make a new booking. Now it refuses to do so. Uninstalling and reinstalling makes no difference. BA responded useless

Used it for the first time yesterday for a domestic flight. Really cool app and saves paper! Only thing that was missing is the fast track option of which is available on paper based boarding passes. Oh and the other thing was that it didn't even have real time updates on flight delays even if they are BA flights, ironically it said contact the airline!!!?

Got this app looking at flights when going through the booking process it asks me for my DoB thays fine but it only let's me input it from the calendar I'm sorry but 8 don't want to swipe through 25 years to get to my sate of birth! Ridiculous...

Lots of silly bugs. Today's new one is an inability to show any flight details when 'Manage my booking ' is selected from the 'My bookings' screen... a blank screen comes up. Not exactly helpful...

Brilliant App , Book and fly, shows cheap fare periods , shows executive club points and downloads boarding card to app. I've taken 120 BA flights in the last 18 months and I wouldn't like to be without it.

Pretty basic app compared to easyjet, ryanair. Frequently arrive at a blank screen with no explanation. Manage booking is little more than basic details about your flight. Disappointing.

Won't accept my booking reference to add a new flight to the screen even though I can see my booking in recent BA Amex transactions. Therefore quite useless.

US based ... The app made it so easy to manage and and lessen what was a complicated schedule. Really took down the anxiety. One of the better airline apps. I use a number of them, BA has substantially improve this app
