Recent new features at a glance:

- Post tracks to Facebook or Twitter
- Continuous power efficient recording for up to 6 hours of battery life
- GPS auto pause detection stops the timer automatically during a standstill
- The only app that provides OpenCycleMap with highlighted bike paths, contour lines and biker POIs

B.iCycle provides all the information you need on the bike. Our stylish user interface combined with maximum ease of use create a new experience on the bike that beats an ordinary bike computer by far!

FEATURES

- Accurate values for current speed, average speed, maximum speed, total distance, trip distance, current altitude, climbed altitude, burned calories as well as trip time. Units can be set to US or metric.

- Watch your bike automatically move on the map and zoom in on your trail

- Receive your trips via email (KML und GPX) and review them at home (e.g., with Google Earth) or share them with other bikers. You can send the data after each ride or anytime later from your track history (e.g. when there is no cellular network available).

- Suspend, pause, and resume for trips allows you to receive calls or take a break

Based on countless test rides and refinement with all major Android phones we measure trip performance with maximum precision of the built in GPS. In contrast to standard cyclometers you do not have to calibrate B.iCycle to your bike. It just works - out of the box. For the full experience we recommend to use a bike mount.

BUT THERE IS ONE MORE THING!

A MAP! Including bike trails! Even offroad you will not get lost while biking: Somebody from the huge OpenStreetMap community has already been there and mapped the trail for you! A community of more than 150.000 people is constantly mapping bike trails around the globe!

B.iCycle stores map data on SD card. That saves battery on the ride and allows you to preload the map when you are biking in an area with no cellular connection or abroad. Just browse the map at home in the area and zoom level that you desire and it will be there during the trip.

This really brings biking to the next level! B.iCycle makes perfect use of what your phone can do with GPS, connectivity and the amazing screen resolution.

And watching your tracks at home is more fun then ever, especially after a hard workout!

Have used this app for several years now on both the iPhone and the HTC. Love it. Have never had a problem. Do wish the android version would allow me to upload to Track 1-2-3.

Tried others that failed the accuracy of B.iCycle, intuitive, easy-to-use display, worth every penny to upgrade

C70%
by C####:

Worth the price to get all the info I need during my rides!

Don't inderstand why the images do show the cycling trace in red but my routes taken is not being shown after traveling. Is a bug.

Q70%
by Q####:

On my iPhone it had speech feature and would tell you when you hit each mile on your ride but android version doesn't have this feature. :(

Q70%
by Q####:

Nice app but for the money it should send to Facebook as advertised. It fails every time.

CYcling GPS app

U70%
by U####:

Had this on my iphone and loved it and glad to say it's even better on the Galaxy S3..tried loads before this but they were all battery eaters..have done rides of 150k plus with it running and still had juice for piccys and f/book uploads. Love the upload function to email/fbook and twitter ..

I just downloaded this program and it's just what I needed to record my rides. It's very accurate and easy to use. It come with it's interactive instruction manual, making it even easier to handle. Great cyclo computer.

U70%
by U####:

It's a nice app, but would be better if I could plan rides as well.

U70%
by U####:

After a 40 mile ride, this app was still 'waiting for GPS -- and its map was still in Berlin (I'm in NYC). All this, and the GPS ran the battery down to zip. Can't blame the developer for that ... but not recommending this app.

U70%
by U####:

Half the time it doesn't turn on while using Verzon Thunderbolt. I even tried it with my Mifi. It also freezes. Don't buy this.

X70%
by X####:

This application is nuts ! Best app for road bicycle touring hands down. Its especially good with a phone mount. The final conclusion is: There will not be a better app for road touring and cycling fitness period. Get it or regret it.

U70%
by U####:

Does not pick up gps on galaxy s. Just stays on "waiting for gps"

U70%
by U####:

Its "ok " but that's it. No satellite view which I'm ok with. However, it constantly resets when I'm in the middle of a ride. So freaking annoying! I set it to go before biking. Along the way, I check it to see my progress. About 50% of the time it completely resets the app and is back at "0", losing all the progress I've already made! Interface is simple... Too simple! This should not be a $4-$5 app! Complete rip off! Such better free ones! Wish I could get my $$$ back! -DROID RAZR

Will not work on Samsung galaxy S II. Will not connect to sat.

U70%

Dont waste your money, it doesnt find your gps on a galaxy s. Took 35min and still doesnt work.

A70%

Don't work on Samsung galaxy S2

Lots of good, usable info. Now I have everything, tracking, music and communication, in one device.

U70%

The first app I bought for my phone - and it does do anything except look nice and tell me it is 'Waiting for GPS'. All the other GPS programs work fine - this one does not. Sent and email about the problem to the Valley Development and have heard nothing. Before buy this program load 'GPS Test' and see it you can get surrounding GPS singals in the 'green' not yellow. If you can't get several consistent green signals then don't buy this program, it may not work right. Wish I could get a refund.

by U####:

I've used this app on both an iPhone (3gs) and my new Android. It has worked perfectly with both. I ride in the North Georgia foothills and have never had any problems with reception, memory etc. However, it does need cadence and heart rate functionality to make it complete cycling tool in my opinion.

U70%
by U####:

This is a great app but for the fact that when running, if you receive email, phone call or txt message, all data is reset rendering the app useless. The publisher should address this issue ASAP. I have a, DROID 2 global.

U70%
by U####:

Tour labels are in km although my settings are set to miles. Cannot edit tour data. No graphs for speed.

Q70%
by Q####:

I was not sure if this app would work, from reading the reviews. Well it seems to work great with my Samsung Galaxy s 2. I love it, and can're wait to get back on the bike to try it out some more.

Have used this app for several years now on both the iPhone and the HTC. Love it. Have never had a problem. Do wish the android version would allow me to upload to Track 1-2-3.

Easy to use and loaded with features. My favorite? This app will automatically email a map of your most recent stats including trip time, distance, average and top speed as well as others.

O70%
by O####:

I'm using Sony Xperia Z1S. The altitude icons at the bottom of the screen are covered up by the settings menu and there's no way to remove the settings menu so you can see the altitude icons display. developer please let me know if there's a fix for this?

M70%
by M####:

Tried several apps for my biking trips. None were even close to how nice this one looks, and how easy it is to use. Well worth your $4.00 or (two beers.)

M70%
by M####:

GPS altitude is notoriously bad and I suspect it really affects the calorie estimates. In one case I know I rode from a river bluff to the water edge and it claimed I climbed 60 feet. Take the altitude calculating out of this program and just rely on speed and distance . Mapping and speed features are good.

M70%
by M####:

This is a great app with one really annoying quirk. The map of the ride cuts off after 8-10 miles, every single time. The total distance seems about right, calories, time and speed...the important stuff, but if the ride is longer than 10 miles the mapping just stops. It happens whether I get phone calls or not and it's really annoying. If you can live without the ride map it's pretty decent.

M70%
by M####:

This app has the nicest and easiest interface of the many cycling gps apps I have tried. Unfortunately, on one completed ride it crashed and lost all my data. The mileage and altitude are also not accurate. It's too bad I really like the look and ease of use of this app, I am now using mapmyride.

M70%
by M####:

Very good app. Use it all the time. Very handy when I am cycling along the Thames cycle path. I would like some voice options to how well I'm doing, I have other gps apps for my phone which has it but the maps are there like this. Very pleased.

M70%
by M####:

It would always crash just when i was getting to the end of a ride. Now, no problem, works great with LG phone and Metro PCS. Thank you. It goes from 1 star to 5 stars.

M70%
by M####:

I love this app when it works. However, 50% of the time, I start the app up, slip the android into my jersey pocket, and when I get home, I discover that something has touched the screen and causes the app to pause/stop. Arrrrg. Drives me crazy. I don't want to buy the mount for the bike, just make the app less sensitive to screen touches.

D70%
by D####:

The open street maps look really good. Unfortunately, the lack of stats about the trip - split times, elevation graph, speed graph etc means that this app is not worth buying. There are free apps like this with more features. Back to Runtastic!

C70%
by C####:

So, all is fine on my Galaxy Note, except for the climbed altitude data. After cycling around 20 Km on flat land(not in the city), the app says I climbed 900 meters. The same happens each and every tour(I have over 10 behind me with this app). As a result, the callories data is also way off. I wish it was this easy, but it ain't, so the app is kinda worthless from my point of view. Oh, sometimes the positioning goes crazy too, but that's just in the city, reflections caused by tall buildings I guess.

I've been using MapMyRide for 300 miles or so and decided to compare this version of B.iCycle. The display of "All Values" is much easier to read than the similar display in MapMyRide, particularly in direct sunlight! Even at night, I really liked the large numeric display and the backgrounds. Great work, albeit with the possible altitude issues. For the record, in my area, the GPS seems to record altitude fairly well in B.iCycle. Thanks for your great work and for integrating the Google Earth export!

M70%
by M####:

So far I really like this app. Not to sure about the accurate of the info/data. See a few post where the altitude is off??? Anyone know if this is accurate or not....? Everything seems to work fine, have a mount for the Phoneand like how it is set up, I listen to Pandora radio while riding or my book. Like that it saves your data and allows you to upload it to FB,email or twitter. Nice app... No issues... Phone is Casio Gzone
