Boston Bruins Official App

Was previously 5 stars. Ruined a perfectly good app! It was one of the best sports team apps but since redirecting to the nhl app, it has lost that personal touch! Great way to put the 'RUIN' in 'bRUIN'!

Way to screw up a good thing. Must be the NHL put the spank down on you for this to happen. If I wanted the NHL app I'd use that. Give me back my Bruins app this is crap

If I wanted to go to the nhl app, I wouldn't have clicked the bruins app. This update is stupid, the nhl app give me issues with news and updates and doesn't give some features of the bruins app. Bring back the old app then I'll give it 5 stars.

I regretfully updated now you have to install the nhl app to get any info of course they want money and if you dont pay you know your goin to get nothing on your team or hours later when it's all over...give back boston!!!

This sucks. I can't even use it anymore without the NHL app which isn't working in Europe. Been using the Bruins app since the first app, but, this is terrible. NHL is really screwing up and take away the team and the fans identity. NHL is all about money, but, at least we should be able to have our own app for our favorite hockey team. I have been a Bruins fan for over 45 years and will always be. This app is useless however.

I didn't want the NHL app. I hate that they force you to get it and take away some of the features from the original app, like the wallpapers. If it doesn't get fixed soon I'm dumping it.

Bring back the old app... I will not use this version... Did the NHL make you change and be a part of their app. If I wanted the NHL app I would down load it. Look at how many Bruins fans are upset by this change

Used to be good when it was the bruins app. Now it redirects to the NHL app which is annoying. Lots of problems with it no longer being a bruins app but others have pointed most of these out already in their reviews!

The old Bruins app gave wallpapers & a lot of Bruins only content. It was easy to use. The new app is the same as the NHL app. It is dull. It is less Bruins related (even though the Bruins are my chosen team). The app is no longer unique. It's vanilla

The old app was great. Since I don't live in Boston, it allowed me to keep up on things and listen to games. I could care less for the "nhl"app. Horrible thing that has been done here!!!!

Hate it. I don't like the set up at all, it is not user friendly. I would like my old app back. I will delete this and I will just use any other access to watch, listen, or get up dates.

If I wanted the NHL app I would have downloaded it on my own, this new update is useless. The notifications for in-game goals etc don't work most of the time (despite having all right the settings turned on) and I get more notifications about teams I don't care to know useless crap about than I do Bruins notifications. Not user friendly and the only reason I'm keeping this useless sack of crap for is so I've got the Bruins schedule handy. Screw this update.

I have had the Bruins app for a few years and it was the only way I could keep track of them when I wasn't home. Can't do that now since I have to install another app to do it. It is getting uninstalled and unless it goes back to the old way not getting installed again. Very disappointed in the change they made to make it so you have to have another app to look at/run it.

If I wanted the NHL app on my phone I would have installed it. I can't stand when apps redirect you and force you to install something that you didn't want in the first place all I want is the Bruins app when you fix the problem with this I will come back until then I am ignoring you

This new version linked with NHL App is awful! You took an awesome app and turned it into crap. Nothing is accessible, can't listen to games,I could go on and on, but just read the other reviews. NOBODY likes this app ...deleting So i don't recommend even installing it. I'll be back when you unlink to NHL App. Thanks for ruining this app

Can't listen to the bruins broadcast any longer unless they are the home team. Doesn't post the TV schedule with the season schedule. Just a bunch of crap. Downloading this app is now worthless as it doesn't even open it just redirects to the NHL app which is garbage. So sad as the old app was so great

I don't like this version at all. It's not about the Bruins!!! I liked where I could compete against other people and pick players right before the game and keep score. This app sucks. If it doesn't change then I'm deleting it. It does nothing for me. I'm a Bruins fan don't care about any other team.

Have loved the Bruins app over the years, checking scores on the go as I come and go from the rink or on the couch when my sweetie refuses to watch hockey. I don't want to be sold out to the league, or I would have searched for the NHL app. This is crap.

Forced me to install NHL app. Nothing like last year's Bruins app. NHL app slows phone, takes up too much space, and does not have half the info that the old Bruins app provided. Not nearly as user friendly. I'm dumping both now...too bad!!

If You're going to force me to use the NHL app now, you better make the NHL app as good as the old Bruins app. Right now it sucks. So many other things the NHL can spend their energy fixing over ruining all the individual team apps and angering fans. Way to go Bettman. Worst commish ever. Can't believe he still has a job.

I wanted the bruins app. Uninstalled nhl yrs ago. All I want is Boston Bruins..not every team. Why would you force people to use nhl only to loose all the customers! Will Uninstall untill you fix the huge glitch you've now created.

And the NHL wonders why ice hockey isn't more popular! I now live in Florida and bought NESN to be on my cable but the NHL blocks all the Bruins games except when they play the Panthers or Lightning. The only way to watch,the Bruins is to buy the NHL channel for $200 per year. So to be able to listen to the Bruins on the Bruins app now is to upgrade the NHL app for money.

Like many others, I've enjoyed the original Bruins app before they started forcing us to install the NHL app. Bring back the app the way it was. This new version is just pathetic. I hate to say this, but I'm uninstalling. I'll come back when they fix their mess.

I miss the old Boston Bruins app. Linking it to the NHL app was the worst idea. When I look up players, Sydney Crosby shows up under "most searched." I don't want "most searched," I want the team rosters back. Here's an idea: PUT IT BACK THE WAY IT USED TO BE. I'll be deleting this app, in addition to the L. A. Kings app, as they're just links to the NHL app, anyway. Useless.

This is ridiculous!!! Had the Bruins app and it was great. Covered all the bases for my needs. Now all of a sudden I have to deal with the NHL?? NAH!! I HATE IT!! Both my husband and I agree that we would sooner go without then deal with this stupidness. We don't like the setup so we'll be uninstalling the apps until somebody realizes that NOBODY seems to like it and puts things back to how it used to be.

At least MLB is open that it's their app or no app. If I wanted NHL app I would have gone to NHL app. What's next, NHL running all the teams. Get you $hit together Boston Bruins and NHL! There are plenty of choices to get information I'm looking for.

Dont bother downloading this app it will just force you to download the NHL app. I really loved this app until it changed. I tried the nhl app out and hated it. Now i have to uninstall both apps :( as a die hard bruins fan this is very upsetting

I guarantee there are the same complaints on every team's app. I only bothered to check the Rangers app. and the complaints look just like the ones here on the Bruins app. I'm deleting it. I assume just about everybody else is too. Fix it and we'll happily come back.

This NHL app sucks. I only like one team the Bruins. I only want to look at one teams information the Bruins. The NHL needs to let the fans decide what app they want and not force us to load this piece of crap to see how much the NHL ruined the Bruins app. Please bring back the good Bruins app the one we all had last year. Really this does suck.

I loved all the features of the old Bruins app. From the news articles to the Fantasy Five to the wallpapers. I also liked how I could go to the schedule and find out what channel I could watch the game. I don't mind changes but why have a Bruins app if all it does is take me to the NHL app. Dissapointing.

Garbage, absolute filth. Why the hell would you make me download both when you had it perfectly down and now I cant even listen. Come on now disappointing deleting both apps sad day

I have the NHL app for game center...but I always liked the bruins app for the calendar features. Oh nope, force me to just use the NHL app. I'll just spend an hour of class manually entering their schedule into my calendar like it's 1994.

This new NHL merger is AWFUL!! The old Bruins app was one of the nicest,most useful sports apps ever. This new NHL corporate app is garbage!!! It's now an awful generic app. The NHL Corporate manages to screw up everything...fan shops, team websites, the All Star Game, the World Cup....and now our app :(

I have to agree with everyone, and I do mean everyone, the NHL App is useless. The old Bruins app was great. It gave me what I wanted and that was a way to listen to all the Bruins broadcasts as a transplanted Bostonian. ... And it looks like that is no more. How sad.

Shows a 4.7 rating based off old version. This new version is God awful. Being directed to the NHL app is not an update but an app that no bruins fan wants. The original app worked, and was a great way to keep track of the B's. Go back go the original app

Linking to the NHL app was a horrible idea. Military keeps me out of the area but at least I could listen to the games with the old version. Now I have to buy the upgrade for the NHL app or deal with blackouts. Even on the radio. Garbage.

I had issues with the old app crashing on me but loved the content! This change to a shortcut to the nhl app is a huge disappointment for me. I'm missing all the fun fan things, especially fantasy five. I had deleted the nhl app because I hated it, now I'm forced to use it, just like the official website being changed, I'm not a happy fan. From a fan perspective, bring back the old fun app!

Looks terrible and removes good features. Schedule used to display in local time, now only ET. Living outside is the US this is just frustrating. Hide scores is hard to find. Preview of next game shows the record, spoiling the results of the previous game if you haven't had a chance to watch it

VERY difficult to navigate! I miss being able to see everything from the original app. Why in the world would it be changed when it was working? That's right, it was easy to use and navigate so let's mess it up for the fans. PUT IT BACK THE WAY IT WAS!!!

This whole linked to NHL app stinks. It takes up more space on my device. It alerts me to info i dont give a rats ass about even with all notifications off except when the bruins score. Just give me the old bruins only app please
