Microsoft Authenticator

Works when set up but when I had to set it up on a new phone for a family member it asked me to authenticate the account from an authenticator which doesn't seem to exist [Microsoft account] leading me to set it up by email. I downloaded this to verify a windows 10 account and still needed to authenticate the authenticator to make it work. LOL

Absolute joke of an app. Tried to input Hotmail credentials and the app says it needs to be authenticated in the authentication app, but it won't do it. The app just times out. Excellent work Microsoft.

I installed it to make sign in easier, but it made it more complicated n frustrating instead. Now when I try to deactivate the administrators to uninstall it, it continuously crashes my settings. Thus, I'm stuck with this app for now. Til I either figure out how to get rid of it or I manufacture reset my phone. Horrible app.

I don't get why this app is necessary... It won't even let me use the app without authenticating my account thru the Authenticator App.... How does that work!?!

This app will not show you the pop-up box to allow you to select your account. Defeats the purpose if you can't actually select an account to authenticate. I would have expected that Microsoft would have fixed this on phones where that button does not shrink. Very poor quality assurance work.

Just needs the ability to save our accounts should we replace our device. Not sure if this is possible.

It requires authentication for app on app it self. Very funny ????????????????Also code does not refresh itself instead timer gets refreshed after 30s itself. Hence it is completely useless.

This app is absolutely destroying my battery life. I'm required to use it but my phone now becomes a paperweight after 3.5 hours. Please help.

Shame that push notifications sometimes won't push through, you have to manually open this app for login approvals to come in

WHAT fixes? WHAT features? I'm tired of app publishers assuming we're all incapable of understanding details. Or, is it really something else being added to your phone....

When putting apps in folders "in app drawer" apps don't disappear in main drawer which makes folders useless. Sorting apps in folders is meant to minimize app drawer pages to the lowest possible!

Before you can use the app you need to set it up by adding accounts. When adding an account it advises you you need to use the authentication app to authenticate it. How! If i havent set it up yet?

It's ok, however almost daily, I have problems signing in for work with it. It usually takes 3 or 4 attempts for it to accept the codes.

one of worst bugged apps....it drained my battery from 80% to 34 in just 25 mins and my phone went crazy hot.....please fix it ....

Couldn't install without giving access to my contacts. There should be no need to access my private data.

Why I cannot setup for my hotmail account? The app ask for verification code. I tried several time both to get code by email and text message but I still cannot get the code.

I authenticated reddit with this app. When I reset my phone, reddit is gone from the app and I've been locked out of my account. Not to mention, it's not even available on Windows, so if I lose my phone I'm screwed.

Sometime it doesn't work or take much time. Today morning, I can't loged into outlook account through this app. I compelled to login with password.

Absolute garbage on my note 8. Never has the right numbers to tap and never shows notifications.
