Hasn't updated the news in several days now. A lot of what's posted is old, lots of repetitive pictures and sports, really needs a more sensical approach. Even with the newer version it's still the same....very repetitive sports, nature pics, very little is useful.

Deleting because there is no setting to prevent notifications. And the notifications are not breaking news worthy.

Not a free app. Misleading download from playstore

I use to enjoy reading the Arizona Daily Star every morning. But after the last update I'm about to uninstall it. It freeze up, it forces me onto the Jim Click advertising. I don't need a car. Can't view slideshow pictures. Fix it or I will use another news source for my local news.

Very good job. Update is awesome.

I'm not looking for nature picture's that take up all the space and not get news. If I wanted to get tons of pictures I would look them up. Not enough sports content. Don't recommend.

The app is okay, except for the annoying pop up adds. A paid subscription shouldn't have pop up adds that you need to bypass to read an article.

I enjoy what I consider to be the Star's attempts to be even in their Op-Ed and most other reporting (yez, there will be screetching about this point of view - my right to mt opinion). I also enjoy. Reading the Letters to the Editor. Some I personally believe to be beyond ignorant or ill informed, but I am ptoud to see the First Amendment right at work for each letter printed. Good job, Star.

Too many ads, full of junk. Pictures do not display captions for longer than 10 seconds. Takes forever to load articles. Needs serious help!

New update it's terrible

Good app but loads stale alert before current news

App takes way too long to load, ads are gigantic and intrusive, UI is inellegant. This could be done so much better. Just browse to mobile site.

Way too slow

I can't tolerate a full screen ad loading. Time is too valuable to waste on waiting for that to load and then the headlines. No thanks.

Load time is dismally slow on HTC Incredible. Must the entire thing load before I see anything?

Takes a long time to load but otherwise a great way to stay on top of the local news.

Thirteen dollars a month for this crap

Why pay for a paper that consumes you with adds, then the articles are not good? UNINSTALLED!!!!

The app takes forever to get past the spider page and, when I'm finally at the main screen with the articles, i can't load them. It keeps saying there was an error and to restart the app. Needless to say, this is a waste of space on my phone. I'll just keep using their mobile site.

Hyper links don't work and page will jump to top of screen when phone's screen is touched.

Your app hangs on the opening sponsor page which is blank. The user needs to remove the task from list to get out. Not an elegant way to exit.

The app use to refresh automatically with the latest updates when I would open the app. Now I have to go to the menu and select latest news menu item to get it to refresh with updated news stories.

....all I see is the Star logo top left and sponsor space with white screen. I cleared cache, cleared data, rebooted, & same result. It was fine before this update. Running Gingerbread 2.3.4 on Xperia Play r800x rooted.

Not sure why they keep jumping from a graphic layout to a basic one and back. Liked the other better but still can get my news on the go.

In the latest update the movie and weather section was dropped. We used these ALL the time. PUT THE BACK!!! :( :-[
