About Azhagi - Indic Typing Keyboard
Azhagi (அழகி) - a class apart - Typing at it's easiest best - in Whatsapp, Facebook, etc. - in 23 Indian/World languages (Sanskrit, English, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sinhala, Burmese, etc.).

Azhagi has been built upon 'Indic Keyboard' open source app (version 2.0.3 - which has support for typing in 23 languages with multiple keyboard layouts for most languages; having features like word suggestions, quick editing of previously typed texts, etc.).
Azhagi app hosts a UNIQUE and SUPER-FAST Tamil transliteration scheme (which is much the same as the one used in Azhagi's desktop version which has been existing Since 2000, benefiting users worldwide).
During installation, you have to choose அழகி - ஒலிபெயர்ப்பு, to transliterate in Tamil the super-fast 'Azhagi' way.
NO need to press SHIFT key to type ள், ற், ண், ஸ், ஶ். You can type lx, rx, nx, llx/lxx, rrx/rxx, nnx/nxx, sx and shx itself to get ள், ற், ண், ள்ள், ற்ற், ண்ண், ஸ் and ஶ்.
Note: If you wish, you can still use shift and type L, R, N, S, Sh to get ள், ற், ண், ஸ், ஶ்.
You can quickly edit previously typed texts. For e.g., after typing 'அவர் நான் வணங்குகிறேன்', you can go back and type 'ai' after 'ர்' to make 'அவர்' to 'அவரை'. No need to delete 'ர்' and type 'rai'.
Azhagi helps you type in 23 languages, directly, anywhere - Whatsapp, Facebook, SMS, Twitter, Viber, Gmail, Skype, Google Search, etc.

Good app. Gesture typing for English is available in Google keyboard. In our Azhagi, it is not there... If it is available in Azhagi, I would disable google keyboard. :)

Perhaps only one of its kind to transliterate all Indian languages under one folder. I have experienced in 5 Indian languages viz English, Tamil, Bengali, Hindi and Sanskrit without any problem. Congratulations to Mr Balasubramanian for his tireless efforts.

Earlier I was using Google keyboard for Marathi typing in inscript layout. But after updating that I was unable to type in Marathi due to not display of vowels. I would request to developer to add feature of long press on key to get other characters instead of shift button. Thanks for making such a simple and clean yet very useful app to type in Marathi inscript layout. But special character are missing in Devanagari inscript layout. And plz add inscript layout of marathi keyboard.
