DNS Changer - Lilly for Android
Simple and excellent and easy to change DNS settings without root!
Excellent
Not bad, especially to use alternate DNS even on mobile networks. However, two issues I've noticed on my Nexus 6P running Nougat 7.1.2. Attached images in Gmail will not download, and neither will app updates from the play store. It's not an OpenDNS issue, as my router uses that and I've never had problems. Once I connected via AnyConnect to my work place's network the downloads worked but not through this app alone. Otherwise works well.
Yes this works perfectly no loss of speed and let's me connect to websites I couldn't when travelling simple to use great job
Awesome app that just works. Only problem is, it works so well that I wouldn't mind paying something for it. If we want to donate some money to the dev, how do we do it?
5 star app, free, no ads, work perfectly without tons of permissions, what more can you ask for. Install now to protect you privacy.
Works better than all of the other identical DNS apps. This one also has advances settings like launch on startup and Pin protection. I use it with openDNS FamilyShield.
Lack a way to turn off the app automatically when mobile data are off
An indicator would be good, like a little check, on the DNS servers we are currently connected.
superb good job lilly , happy with no ads and ease to use without prior knowledge :)
Google play stop downloading when DNS is enabled.
Good Work Works as well or better than others and no ads.
Works great and no ads
Pretty smart approach. With this app you can change your dns server without root or other stuff. This app makes a local VPN server and changes the dns records on it. You don't connect to an external VPN server, it's inside your phone. Kudos to developer. Works great with cyanogenmod 14, Lineage OS Android 7.1.1, and unlike other comment, keeps connected with mobile data. My only suggestion is for icon, it would be way better with another icon. Edit, the new icon looks sleek, thanks!
This doesn't seem to work at all. I select Google and press connect. It flashes "connected" for a fraction of a second then changes back to "disconnected".
Simply the best. Been using it for about 2 weeks, so far works as stated. Small size, less than 1mb. Zero battery drainage, 0 ram footprint. No permission, no ads plus its totally free. 1 word AWESOME!
It works and there's no ads, plus the developer clearly states who he is. We need more developers like this guy!
So far very satisfied, very good job. Thank you very much. Barack ellah fik
It works. I was experiencing slow wifi everywhere with my Galaxy S6. Changing the DNS fixed my slow speed.
Your app is currently the most efficient, lightweight DNS app on the Play Store. Wonderful app, please keep it as it is. Thank you.
Works! Starts on boot. Custom DNS options. Lockable with PIN. Perfect.
It's the best DNS app
Great and simple!
Very good app
Nice cool app
Simple when you need it to be with notification toggles, and advanced enough when the need arises like adding custom VPNs.. recommend adding additional Norton ConnectSafe VPNs (x.x.x.20=Pron & x.x.x.30=Pron+Others) to complement Parental controls.
I like everything that the app serve but most of the time when i use the app or add a server my Internet gets super slow can you please fix it but other then that I love the app
Does not work on mobile data, aka 3g or 4g so completely pointless app.
It doesn't change the DNS settings at all.
So simple. I like it. Edit: Notification is not a persistent one, easily cleared. Please make it persistent.
Awesome app! Does not have ads, Works for newer Androids (5+), Can be enabled on boot and it's free!!! It is also simpler and easier to use!
It could not be easier to use this awesome app, well done.
I am in india and it works very well here. Thanks for this great app.
Works perfectly, no ads, what else can you expect? Only a little problem - when app is active, battery drains more quickly; but knowing the complexity Android VPN infrastructure this may be difficult to avoid. Still, 5 stars for this little gem, and thank you for releasing it.
Fine app. . . . . . (but) Hello dear friend :^D Your app is very nice, my one and only issue is it did not include the option to assign the port as well as the address. Still a very nice app though. * * * Feature Request * * * Code in the ability for the user to be able to assign their desired DNS port swell as the address. Possible put this option in the setting menu under "Advanced Features" with a brief popup warning of some sort that informs the user that if they don't fully understand that option they should not select it. That would (almost) insure the average user that didn't need this option would not fiddle with it. I believe this feature would set your app apart from the other one thousand that only change the address and judging by the current state of this excellent app I'm sure it would be trivial for you to write and implement such a simple piece of code. Cheers
Didn't work for me anytime I connected using one of their DNS servers the only website that worked was Google everything else did not work

Theory of it does exactly what i want, but does not stay connected after a few minutes. Or at least when the phone is awoke again it shows it is no longer connected. It connects after android boots just fine. Maybe implement a connection restart after a screen on/wakeup status.
Does what I needs. My suggestion for next: Name and icon isn't really thematic :) Backup user DNS, user sorting, select via checkbox would by clearer, cut down installations package. Thank You for you job!

Can't download apps from the Play Store with this enabled.
