A simple digital clock to put on your nightstand, bedside table - whatever. Google play has hordes of these kind of apps but all the ones I came across were either extremely bloated or didn't let you customise anything.
You can choose the time format, colours and text size and transparency. All you need really.
Instructions:
Tap the time to open the settings menu.
Text Size:
In the area under the time, swipe left to decrease size, right to increase.
Time Format:
You can use anything from http://docs.oracle.com/javase/1.4.2/docs/api/java/text/SimpleDateFormat.html.
Mainly HH = hour (24hr), h = hour (12hr), mm = minutes, ss = seconds, a = am/pm marker.
So HH:mm a would show 19:21 PM for example, Quite redundant though. So you would use h:mm to show 7:21 PM instead. See http://ayedroid.com/android/bedsideClock.php#timeFormat for more info.
The colours should be pretty self-explanatory.
Permission Explanation:
WAKE_LOCK - to keep the app going when your device would have normally went into sleep mode
INTERNET - to access the one small advert on the settings screen
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE - to ensure the aforementioned ad can be fetched

Its idiotic to say the time is 17:52pm. Also changing the font sins almost impossible on my nexus 7 tablet. A very simple weather / temp indication and an alarm would be good additions.

Great app. It's a bedside clock, at the brightest setting its still pretty dim so it does not disturb sleep. My only request is for the option to initiate the app when docking or plugging in usb for charging. That being said, I don't think that feature works on samsung GS5 for any other app.

This app made me smile, no mess no fuss. Thanks for placing the ads in the settings area so they don't light up your room at night. I would like my phone to be locked in the background. Running this app prevents the phone from locking. Keep up the good work

Keep getting "InvalidDoubleNull Java error. Reinstall fixes issue but then I have to set customizations again. Error occurs about weekly.

This app gives a clock that does not fill the room with light and allows a decent amount of customisation. To get 5 stars just need to make it easier to change font size as on s4 you have to slide around near the menu button till it does something.. normally shrinks the font... just needs to be simple pinch zoom and have the menu appear only when you press menu button IMO :) thanks for good app!
