About Plan MCH
The Plan MCH app is a part of the Integrated Nutrition Project is being implemented in 70 villages of Bikaner and Udaipur districts in the state of Rajasthan. The project is being implemented jointly by Plan International (India Chapter), Seva Mandir (Udaipur) and Urmul Setu Sansthan (Bikaner) in collaboration with Plan Japan in the two districts. The project is financially supported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and Plan Japan.
The project aims at improving the health and nutrition status of children, mainly focusing on improving infant and child feeding practices, life cycle approach for care and ensuring easy access and timely services.
In this context, a mobile/tablet based software has been developed, which is name as “Plan MCH”. This software is primarily used by community nutrition workers. They will enter the health and nutrition related data of pregnant women and children between the age group 0-5 years in their catchment area and the software will guide her with automated guidance on different intervention points
It helps better data management, which will further improve tracking of beneficiaries’ status and monitoring of the project. This software has been developed with technical support from Axxonet system technologies, Bangalore.
