Sky Events

Wish I could set some notifications up to alert me to upcoming meteor showers and eclipses. Otherwise, it is a fun and informative app. I appreciate the "add to calendar" function. Like that I can search for events, but would really like some info on the best viewing locations for some things; or just whether it's visible or not in certain areas.

I like the idea, and I don't get disappointed that it doesn't take location into account, but I wish it did say where it's base location is. It says the moon and Aldeberan will be 0.7* apart, but at my location the star will actually be eclipsed by the moon. I don't mind that it's not perfectly on, but when I see events like this, knowing if the base location is LA or London would be nice.

Nice idea, but it doesn't seem to take into account location in the events list. For example, it listed a conjunction between the Moon and Venus, but it would be well below the horizon at my location. If I added that to my calendar I'm going to be pretty disappointed on the night! Not much point listing events I can't see from my location. It should at least have a filter.

I love the idea. I hate how the news makes a big deal about a meteor shower the day After it happens. Some sort of location tie-in would really help, events I can not see where I am are useless.

Early days and it looks like it will provide lots of warning about upcoming events useful to skywatchers of all stripes, from astronomical to navigational. But time will tell. Some reviews are ominous, to say the least.

  Inappropriate push ads.  I consider it absolutely unacceptable for an app to push ads when one isn't using it.  If I'm not mistaken, this violates Google's policies as well.  Uninstalled.

Perhaps add a GPS to help point out events in you location. This would be helpful. I do like knowing when the sky events are going to happen. ????

Definitely a great app, that gives me a heads up to some amazing astrological events! A notification system, to alert me to upcoming events would be good, but it's not a necessity. I can easily check an app. More importantly, it's a very user friendly app, it's well organized, and the colour scheme is easy on the eyes. Well done!

The app is useful but I have questions about the premier edition and about future updates. Is this still actively developed? There's been no response to emails to the support address or to the purported author's address.

Doesn't give me any data related to where I am. Plus I took the paid version. Not worth it.

This app is easy to use. The only app that lets me know the actual compass heading too

Lists need better organization, correct location data, and the ability to push alerts/reminders to mobile devices or email. Useful information, but format needs revision.

Great app that needs support to improve. It would be great tovadd location for hemisphere accuracy and link to a astro finder app. I'll be using this app for some time more

Great for upcoming events in the stars. Now I have something to help me and my astronomy club plan our stargazing nights

It says you wont miss sky events anymore, & its easy as can be with this handy tool.

If this allowed you to click an item and add it to Google Calender, I'd rate it with a 4 or 5

time is in this am/pm format only. prefer military or how you call it in inch using countries?

It's quite good but it could be better if it gives locations of where it is happening

Love it. It's great to be notified when all of these cosmic events are happening.

Pretty nice how so much is displayed.. problem when locating location manually. Other than that it seems to work geat!

GREAT idea, but please, when I add something to my calendar, let the app go back to where I left off, not restart at the beginning
