Weather by WeatherBug for Android
I recently just switched back to Android, and in installation of Weatherbug on my new device, I get a new error when trying to view the radar that "the selected layer is not available in this region. Not useful if I cannot view the radar. I hope this doesn't mark the end, as I've been a rather big user for probably the last 10-12 years...
You guys must wear rose colored glasses!! Every night this week you said the LO TEMP would be 11...It's already gone down to - 2 and it's only 7 pm!!!! The problem is, you don't account for snow cover and radiation cooling. That lowers the temperature at least 7-10 degrees!!! Plus you predicted partial sunshine the last 2 days.. We had nothing but complete cloud cover all day!! Once again, you don't consider Lake Michigan being a factor, which it's a HUGE FACTOR!! The app is decent,, the forecast sucks!!!!!
I rated it A 5 months ago. They still prompted me to give them a rating. That is annoying, but other than that it does everything I need it to. I can check the temperature whenever I need to and determine the weather forecast for the next week.
Seems like the radar is 15 minutes behind. During a tornado warning I was comparing this app to the local radar. WeatherBug was still showing approaching weather as the local news tracked the weather into and then out of my area. Don't bet your life on this app. Good reference.
I have tried a lot of weather apps and this one is just superb! With real time weather alerts, storm radar and spark. I just love spark because it let's me know how far away lightening strikes are from my location.
Something is different. This app was one of my favorite now the information is inconsistent. This was the most current, up to date info available! I have seen the weather bug stations on many of the projects i have been on. Quite comforting to know weather bug is reading the weather on its own system and NOT borrowing information from a third party.
Would be a great app if it wouldn't have my current location 30 miles from where I am actually am. so it get a down grade from me.. Hope yall can get it fixed soon...
It's nice and works well. I can link to a weather station other then the airport. They have a whether bug station here on my college science building so I can get real accurate data. I checked out a number of weather apps and this is by far my favorite!
Was a great app until radar went down, says not available in your region, was the best 1 for tracking the weather.... The makers need to get sorted otherwise I will find an alternative..... Very disappointed....
What can I say? I love the Bug. It gives me news to start the day and tucks me in at night. Everything you need to make an informed decision without the fluff or the "We'll give you that information right after this commercial break."
The temperature forecast has been off by 15 degrees the last few days. It doesn't even try to predict thee amount of precipitation expected, though I don't know that it would be any more accurate.
WeatherBug is great. Please don't change it. Don't update it. Don't add or subtract from it , or make it more complex . If you change anything at all it won't be as good. That's what happens to a lot of apps, change just for the sake of change and then it gets miserable. So leave a good thing alone. Thank you
This weather app is good and is pretty reliable with accuracy and I like it ????, always gives pretty accuracy weather and I'm happy with it, it just needs to update every hour because it doesn't always do it, updates were good, every little bit helps. Still is a reliable app, would recommend to anyone else. ????everything is going good so far ????
I enjoy checking the local forecast as well as the windshield advisory. It's also nice to be able to break things down into hourly/daily forecasts so that I know what to expect.
It is much better than the weather app that I had on my old phone. Only thing I don't like is that it shows weather at the Renton Municipal Airport which is of no interest to me. Found no way to change it to SeaTac which is relevant to me.
Weather Bug provides all the details I want and I can view the same details on weather where friends and family are located. Tracking the nearest electrical storms also keeps me safe. I can avoid swimming if there is a storm that is too close. My physical limitations make a speedy exit from our pool difficult and with Weather Bug I can plan ahead.
I've been using weather big since 2000 and it is always the same one i will continue to use until the day i pass off this earth. Thanks for all the years of service.
Sometimes opens slow and radar won't load on occasion but works great 95% of the time and I really like the layout. Very user friendly and informative.
Luv the app, hate the fact that im notified 20xs throughout the day about the same thing. Will wait a few weeks, but if not fixed i will go elsewhere
I always look at weather bug in the morning to see what's going on and if I see stuff moving in I go to the maps to see where it's at and how fast and where it's moving and if I see lightning I look to see how far it's moving. I also look at the UV is,the humidity, I also look at the Barometric pressure is and I love to look at the photos ppl has sent in,they're really good also.
WeatherUnderground has been the app I pay for, but I might change to WeatherBug. Overall it is more consistent & less buggy. Weakness right now: the temp in the notification area doesn't properly update.
Check it all the time before I plan ride to me at least it is accurate I trust then more than local news weather report It's 2017 and still my number one go to weather app love the updates and the new look
Radar does not pick up any activity in my area. It can be snowing and when I go to radar it shows nothing in area. Hourly does not match day and night. Scenario says in daily there is so many mile an hour wind and go to daily and there is a different forcast
I used to love this app, but I can't make the widget follow my location. I am forced to pick a default location which is not useful. I want the widget to show current conditions for where I am located like it used to.
Gets the job done and I check it out more than any other weather reporting outlet for same day and 10 day forecasts. I also use it for lightning strike distances.
Best weather app. Gives accurate information. I like the lightning strike feature. I like how you can add as many cities as you want. Accurate on alerts as well. Definitely need to try this app out if you're looking for a weather app.
You can't get a simple 7-Day screenshot of the forecast--half the page is taking up with this temperature thing that says swipe. How annoying!
The moving radar time spand is too short. It would be better if it covered a two-hour time span! It's hard to tell the end from the beginning unless your watching the time clock on the screen as well!
Pretty accurate. Can access hour by hour or several days at a time. Alerts you of lightening/thunder storms.
You won't find a better weather app anywhere. Easy to use and refined over many years. It is also available on your computer, but the Android app is actually better.
Love this app. Live in central N.Y. and used it on a trip to the Dominican Republic. Worked perfect there as well. Live radar is great especially when you're on the lake tracking a thunderstorm. More accurate than my local news.
Good app. Has many nice features. This app has improved since my last review. Still could use more and improved widgets, without downloading another app for more widgets. The built in one leave much to be desired.
The recent update broke somewhere, the notification bar keeps disappearing on my S7. All notification settings on the OS are set properly. I like having the temp on my notifications, please make it stick around for more than an hour.
This app has a lot of different weather features, helping me to get a full understanding of the weather. I love how accurate it is, only two degrees cooler than the actual temp!
Very accurate. If it's weather, this is your app. Love knowing how far lighting is away from me in summer. Everything you need on one page.
I'm a landscaper we use this app all the time. Definitely great for us during the summer when thunderstorms and rain come in. Definitely reliable. Thanks for a great app. Keep it up.
Liked this app but then it started to constantly pop up with data issues all the time. Uninstalled and downloaded again and problem still exists. Uninstalled and moving on.
Its jacked up keeps getting highs wrong just doesn't work like it used to ive used it for years now its worthless
A really great weather app.it says what its suppose to do and to me that is a plus. Thanks ! Maybe think about having live themes and different wallpapers in your next update .

Really great app! It fire get a little overwhelming when there's a weather alert for 4 area you've visited and one you're currently located in. Just a lot of alerts I don't always need. Other than that I use the so all the time when going out to practice and when I'm picking out my outfits.
