Great app, just 2 complains. first, some news articles just wont open, esp CNN articles, maybe cos of javascript in those articles? i suggest u guys adopt Android "web view" framework if u haven't done so already. 2ndly, try to make the images more prominent, u can check out "news keeda" to see how they display pictures

I actually started to use it and found out the loading time for reading took longer than other news apps. Uninstalling as I don't want to watch mold growing as stories open.

More stars if they can filter non-US location news out. Really annoying when the article is not even english. Picking the US settings does nothing. Self filtering feature works but too many sources to filter.

I had to change my rating since upgrade, it is all messed up now the same stories keep repeating themselves over and over please fix

The pop up telling me to turn my location on every time I start this app is extremely annoying

OK app but seems to now not open some news reports previously working. Major example- doesn't now open BBC report items!!

I used to love this app but your news source continues to be from paid sites ..mainly WASHINGTON POST and NEW YORK TIMES then remove line that says FREE or get rid of these sites that require payment altogether...

Almost perfect. Easily beats Google's own News and Weather app. Way better news feeds, custom news feeds and news source filters. Dark theme included.

Its nothing flashy or technical. In fact its a perfect opposite to all them other ram hogging, background running over informative news gathering apps that give me more info than i care for ..I get only what interests me as i see fit ..thanks devs

Good app especially for weather but still big problems in Refresh. Using Nexus 5x latest OS update Nougat but it REFUSES TO REFRESH AS I SET IT IN SETTINGS. So won't AUTO REFRESH no matter how I set the status. Can't you guys make the weather AUTO REFRESH ON OPEN??? Constantly needs to manually refresh and very frustrating. Please fix I know my phone and settings are good and maybe Nougat is the problem.

One of my favorite apps. Upgrading Google Play just killed it. Pissed at Google.

so glad this app has sections for top news... national news... tech news... entertainment news... and sports... so why in heck is the sports section in top news!!! maybe it's my fault...and I need to go to settings and correct it myself!!!

It's ok, but displays wrong weather, it's morning and shows the moon ???? is out in the weather section!

Liberal NY Times and Washington Times articles that fad away while reading them. Annoying.

Actually I love this app...I've had it since it first came out...please fix ...there seems to be something wrong with the Google interface...it can't seem to get any new articles past may twelfth...please fix..please please...thanking you in advance. (Fingers crossed for you to fix it)

Weather only no news

The app has WAY TOO MANY LIBERAL AGENDA ARTICLES! Way too many Washington Post and N Y Times which constantly lean left. Frankly, i used to like the service but it has gone too far to the left. I will delete app after this comment. There are at least 4 Wapo articles in "Nation", and "Top Stories" everyday which are left leaning and ANTI CONSERVATIVE. ALSO THE N Y TIMES IS PREDOMINANTLY anti Trump and fake news. By the way aint so free either, after ten articles N Y Times an Post shut you down for a month unless you subscribe! Ah no thanks.

Used to be great. Recently, however, it has become very unstable. After reading an article when you click 'back' there are no news articles, so you have to go to the menu and select 'refresh' and wait for it to reload, over and over. I hate to reinstall because I will lose all the Indian news sources that I have blacklisted, that this app seems to favor.

I have had this app on the last 3 phones I have had, I love the fact that it is neither left nor right in delivering my news. I how ever am having an issue with it, on galaxy 7 with the new software update it is causing issues. It will make it so the phone won't have volume when ringing, or alarm clock is going off, also no videos can play while installed! Please fix it so I can have it back!!!! UPDATE it appears to cause the cashe partition to clog, and causes those side effects when it is opened and then stays open in back ground.

this app is about the best app i have found on the market with news being filtered only by the keywords you specify i.e. your areas of interest... however the latest update causes itnto crash everyntime you try to get to settings

The BEST NEWS APP. I've Tried Many. All of a sudden there is another burst awful of Garbage Sources from Google. Writing down and retyping these entries into the filter is a pain in the petoey lol - one error in these odd names and you have to do it all over again. Is there a way of capturing it from a long press on the headline and share that portion to the filter. OR an edit function to the already existing filters? Still the BEST News App available Thanks soooo much for your work.

It's a great app can select topics they will update you on daily very simple easy to use, screw people who rated less than 5

Whatever day you select it always shows the hourly forecast for today, which admittedly is more than the Google app can do.

Sadly, started getting tons of articles in other languages after I upgraded to payed version.

One of the best news app if not the best!

I'm submitting a more updated review. I've used this app since it came out after google took theirs down. I love the widget and that I can make custom sections for news articles. Like local and state news. I paid so I have no ads but when I did have ads they only took up half the space one article preview would at the bottom of the screen. I also have a note 4 so I have lots of screen real estate anyway.
