Firstly, the currency is in euros which means you have to then get a currency converter to get the Rand value. I tried booking through the app but at the end where I have to pay, it declines my card (maybe it's bcoz currency is in euros, not sure). so I had to go book online. Now the upcoming rental shows on the app but I can't manage it or click on it. Please do something about this, or is this app not for South Africa?

Very easy to book a car and to add extras to thr booking. Date picking was easy as was model selection and pick up drop off choice. doesn't appear to allow log in but was able to add BA frequent flyer member number.

Icons removed from menu page. Can not see reward accumulated to date. Avis can work on user friendly approuch with beter stats etc. Update of frequant flyer rewards poor.

The date function under Avis Preferred is unusable: cannot select month after October and cannot choose year (doing so means you can only choose 2016!). Seems like an overly complex way to get a rental history.

Im rating Avis Company Not The App...Rented the car at avis and paid for my toll gate as the device didnt work....now they charged me the toll gates that i never been to at the times that i was peacefully resting at my home town after my northen cape trip and since the 2/1/17 only got 1 response then nothing...included i have been wrongly charged on my holding deposit instead of getin atleast R1500 i got R750 And They Tell Me why even the statement is less explaining.This Is A Weck Service I didnt Expect From Avis..quick to put a hold on your money bt lazy/reluctant and greedy to gv what is due to You.Pooooooor Service

This app generates a 'something went wrong' message most of the time; so you cant actually book a car. Pitty because it is very convenient to be able to book via the app. Keep up AVIS! Thought your motto is: 'Trying to do better. ' Get your developers to do the same please

Still a pretty useless app as of 02/11, emailed Avis as requested below - nothing!!.. I'm STILL not able to get cars delivered to my home address.. App and online still won't allow me delivery or collection!!.. At worst, I live 13 miles away from three major cities AND an aiport location!!!.. UPDATE: 09/12/2016 - app still won't allow collection or delivery to my home address. If Avis can't make the delivery/collection work outside of London - please say so!!!..

App fails to update current & upcoming rentals constantly, always saying "Sorry, something went wrong" - can only get up to date details by logging out & back in again, which is a pain.

Keeps forcing itself on top of other apps. Can't book more than a few weeks in advance. Can't see future booking and can't add it either. Calendar not great.
