When I point my camera at the code is takes less than half a second to scan and it doesn't even need the camera to be focused. It also supports various codes and not just QR codes, like bar codes etc. It's ad free and everything I needed. Please support Google search inside the app too. It's necessary for bar codes.

Recognition is Hands free ( once launched ) and Takes less than a second to recognise QR and bar codes, and you can see all the details from the QR code in the preview. I guess the app is actively processing the camera input to recognize patterns.

Might be a good QR scanner but until Avira let the app use the front camera as opposed to the back one then I for one will never know! (I use a tablet in a case and don't want to have to remove the case every/any time I want to scan a QR. Seems to a common fault with all the QR readers I've tried.

Perfect! Not only is the app size less than 2MB, they check link safety and best of all, it's not picky about lining up the brackets with the code. So long as the code was fully visible to the camera, it picked it up before I could even blink.
