Avira Vulnerability Checker

I'm a longtime fan of Avira. I installed this app, plus another app to detect Stagefright. Both apps indicated that my phone was vulnerable. These vulnerabilities were pretty much universal in the Android world, as widely discussed in tech media. Avira does not claim to "fix" the problem - only a firmware update to patch these security breaches will do that. I recently downloaded & installed just such an update. I then ran this app and the Stagefright detection app. Both clean!

My device is safe? Norton reports something entirely different. In app screen differ from your screen shots. Doesn't matter. I have own method to circumvent the circle of tyrants.

Says my LG G4 H815 is at risk with both. UPDATE I got rid of the remote support vulnerability so now one less.

Its create confusion as checkpoint says my device is patched..

I'm an avira fan time ago, this app doesn't detect the risky stagefright vulnerability :(

It's ok. But when I check my device if it is vulnerable it says that my device is at risk. My problem is how to fixed this.

The 'learn' button does not appear. I have reinstalled the app but still the same result. Is it supposed to be visible when the device is at risk?

No idea why my device is risk, just because I didn't install AV? Lol, srsly Avira. I've just reset my phone earlier and install your app, and all it tells my phone is risk.

Should be equipped extra with threat monitoring engine, so when the vulnerability is running, this app prevent it.or give the user a warning

Great app

It tells you that it's vulnerable but doesn't say why or where the vulnerability is. I am sure it isn't stage fright as I've patched it already. The phone is fully encrypted. So where is the vulnerability? There is absolutely no point in installing this app. Horrid.

Its also free for install nice work avira team.but I request I want uu guys doing improvement that avira antivirus because my memory card still has virus after I clean also by avira antivirus. Thank you

Not even an explanation which vulnerabilities are checked, completely useless.

I ran a quick check to test my phone. All was good. I would like to have been able to check for stagefright as well.

Ok. Downloaded it. Checked and it said its at risk but why? No explaination, no info about the test, no info about the vulnerability. Just check and ur at risk. at least it should give an advice about the specific vuln..

With all the vulnerabilities that keep on surfacing on the Android OS, I can fully rely on my good old friend & security expert, @Avira, to tell me whether I am exposed or not. Great job!

Great app

Handy app, it helps me examine my cellphone and lets me know if its system is at risk, which did a really good job! :) From my point of view, it will be extremely valuable that instead of opening a browser to read the blog, it can have in-product helps to tell me more about the issue, why the issue matters and how can I or even Avira help me walk around the issue. Keep doing the great job and look forward to the update!
