App interface is not particularly intuitive. Almost impossible to find the right spot to edit, add, and delete trips. No effective calendar management means literally having to open the app every day to update my availability. No ability to select driver or passenger at the same time; I am happy to ride or drive on a daily basis. Worst of all, almost no one uses this. I commute across a busy Bay Area bridge in the commute direction during regular commute hours, and there are 4 drivers and 1 passenger total.

I can't message anyone. It does not display my current Facebook picture. App closes if trying to upload picture. Can not do nothing but solo drive. Please fix its really irrigating me.

Generally good, but two big issues: (1) getting to the screen to add/edit trips is very non-intuitive, and could be fixed by a simple button; (2) app causes SEVERE battery drain (even worse than Facebook, which is notorious for reducing battery life). Please work on these issues, and then I'd be glad to give 5 stars. Another suggestion: to encourage adoption, offer some inventive for completing trips (entry in contest, accumulate points to redeem for something, etc).

Maybe it's a different situation in the iPhone world. However it is a very cumbersome when you want it edit things. When you set up an account it defaults to 8 a.m. and there is no way to change it to anything earlier. After that there is no way to edit you're leaving time. This makes this app completely useless.

Interface is a little complex, but the bigger issue that there are not enough people on the app.

So confusing as to how to use this. Just randomly ask people for a ride and hope someone responds. Was told by driver I had to get to them. How stupid is that? Take an uber to find them. Pure crap beginning to end

How are people supposed to know you want a ride if they don't get notified by the app! I reported this over two months ago and still no fix.

Hangs on trying to sign up. I am a developer myself and I feel this app is too buggy and bloated.

Login or register screen doesn't adapt to phone so cannot register.

Went pass bridge but didn't automatically get refunded twice. Set starting address wrong but won't let me change it at the end. Contact customer service but still didn't get a reply. If you take a 20% cut you should address these issues.

Now that i have created a profile, how do i search for people in my area commuting to places?

App keeps restarting while searching trips or trying to read messages; impossible to edit my trips from the computer as it was before. Various UI problems!

Registration was a terrible experience, and the UI looks like Gingerbread. App needs a lot of love.

Confusing UI. SMS verification doesn't work, no code is received

Loading issues, profile photo uploading kicks u out of app, No return trip button option ONLY when 1st schedule trip app automatically switches for return trip, but doesn't display * so who knows entire trip info :/ Great idea, but fix issues, thanks Sent carma a email ABOUT ISSUES & Contacted community app manager, within the app, but NO REPLY. App says 10,000 dwnlds but No community map to see who's active. I Only saw 1 person: /

I'm glad I found it.

Much better performance! SUGGESTION: Would be nice to select both rider & driver. I want to carpool, but don't care whether I am driving or riding. Still haven't had a match on either yet though.

It would be great, if the driver could adjust the pay per mile. Gas prices and reasonable price for the lift depend on the location or the length of the travel. In Estonia, it would be wiser to take a bus or train instead if you were to travel from Tallinn to Tartu.

The link sent in the first email I received to verify my address didn't work, and the second email told me there are already matches - an outright lie. Two black marks in as many minutes of using the app. No thanks.

With Carma I have met some amazing neighbors I would never have known before and saved loads of money by carpooling together with them. This is the most social app available on Google Play. Awesome.

UI is insanely poor, feels like a desktop munge. Loads slowly and choosing things is so counterintuitive. Please look at Waze for how it's done, come back when done.

I used the app 2 weeks ago for an overnight trip. Great and cheap way to travel, and you get to talk to cool people.
