Wind Computer

Green is too light green. No options to change this. No settings button. How do I change sides or get to the conversions screen it shows on the download page? Where is this 'menu' button? Great idea but I don't have an hour to figure s**t out.

So much easier to use than the real thing, and no messy pencil marks to erase. Nice and intuitive. If there was a distance->time calculator as well my CRP would never come out of my flight bag.

Few improvements could make it much better. Add configurable units, change or let configure green line to better visible colour, and finally add help - even short one.

Brilliant. Would like to see crosswind component and you really must change the green vectors to black. Still worth 8 stars

This is the best calculator of wind triangle problems that I've ever come across. I wish I'd had it when I had to plan flights for my PPL! It's great that it actually shows the wind triangle, so you can visualise it. It also uses the conventional arrows that are shown in wind calculation problems. There is also a true airspeed calculator which looks handy, although I haven't tested that out. I also like the interface. You don't enter the numbers by hand; you rotate the wheel to change the track, wind direction and/or heading, and you use the "trim" wheel to change the airspeed, wind speed and/or groundspeed. I haven't used it in flight, but I think it wouldn't be very difficult to do so if necessary. Many thanks to the developer!

5 stars if the vectors were in black v difficult to see in light green. Please, please change.

i really don't know for what purpose it is made!

Brilliant little app but input is fiddly. Would be nice to have keyboard input as alternative.

Looks good, need option for MPH or knots.

Input is a little different than the E6B but works. The triangle is neat but would be better in another color.

I love this app, simple but effective. I use it every time I fly.

Good graphics. This app is better than reality as you don't need a notepad to keep track. The trimwheel needs a little more work tho. :)
