Avaya Equinox for Android
Requires WAY too many permissions before it'll even run - not suitable for a corporate environment.
History call log function is not working
In the android version it will not handle bridged lines.
Useful app but drains the battery
I hate an app that you cannot turn permissions off for! I do not want my local contacts or calendar to show, I should be able to turn them off! Feature works on the iphone version.
After upgrade to latest version can't connect through mobile network, please fix the issue, thanks. After 31-Mar upgrade able to connect back through mobile network and working fine, thanks.
the app has been greatly improved.
I hate apps that have an always on notification that you cant turn off without turning all notifications off
Call quality is great. We us Remote worker with our SBC, as long as your certs are good the app will "work". That's where all positive aspects of the app end. 1) buggy! When selecting different interfaces in the app (meetings, features, or dialer) interfaces will display on top of one another in a transparent fashion. Looks horrible. 2) Please allow the user to turn off this apps calander notifications. Its SUPER annoying. I have a calander, I don't need your app telling me all the same notifications.
I received an upgrade to a Google Pixel and the CES doesn't ring my mobile phone when my desk phone rings. I've worked with our Telecom team and all settings are correct. There is something wrong with this app.
Buggy, when a call ends and you do not hang up the app still blanks your screen, you have to dial another number and hang up the call to stop it. Also pressing mute or setting mute on phone this ignores those settings and still rings loud. Please fix avaya
Great application, able to move out from using different clients to place audio and video calls. Continues presence and MM massaging all from one place. Just great.
This is a great app. I like it very much.
Love the app! The look and feel are great and the ability to switch between cell and SIP is cool. The conference bridge control is very helpful too...
Good user experience...
Call quality often sounds like I'm travelling though a tunnel trying to listen to a radio station. Static and drops. Gives me flashbacks to owning a Nextel. Outside of the horrible call quality, this app breaks Bluetooth functionality for phone calls. When I make or receive a call and this app is running in the background I have to change the source to either speaker or handset and then back to Bluetooth headset. Otherwise the call goes through the handset.
If you look up on Google the country with the worst internet, the answer you will get is Eritrea. This app must think I live there. I can be at work, at home, at a coffee shop, with full strength on 4G LTE-- anywhere I go, this app says that I have crap internet service. Every Speed Test shows low latency, low Jitter and high throughput. Nope, none of that is good enough for Avaya. I'm getting used to the thought of the red exclamation point triangle just being part of the landscape of the application.
OK, you broke it!. The new Avaya Equinox does not reliably login when first run. I typically have to manually log in once or twice before it accepts the password. Then the app just disappears (presumably crashes) without a trace after anywhere between 1 to 12 hours. The update itself looks nice enough but I don't want all the new functionality like the integrated calendars etc. I have apps that already do that better. Just focus on making the core product robust please. (Previous comment for the previous version --- The latest update on 9th Sept 2016 finally works reliably on my Huawei P8. The previous update seemed to dramatically improve what was very poor call quality unless Internet access was perfect. The most recent update allows the App to remain permanently connected to the server without needing to restart it every few hours. The App is still very crude and awkward to use, but at least it is usable and reliable. Well done, keep improving it. (Don't break it!))
Doesn't work. At sign in, all I get with my email address is "No auto-configuratio services found". The app this replaces worked fine.
Does not open on LG V10. Had no problems with my Nexus 5. Works fine with Galaxy S7.
Does not function correctly with salesforce
Old version worked new dont
What a great tool for mobile users. Now you can commute and still have full access as if you are in the office. Outstanding
Best and most integrated app from Avaya
Works great..I use it daily
Out standing
Good user experience
I hate how the Avaya icon is always in your notification bar. The program should have an option to turn the icon on and off.
No H.323 protocol support. When will this be available? This would help us so much in our company at our Help Desk department
Battery hog and crap quality cant get anyone to use it
This app is a game changer...
My device: Nexus 6P, Android 7.0 stock, upgraded from 6.0.1 stock. When I install the app and set it up everything seems okay on the first run without leaving the app. Once the phone goes to sleep and is woken up or is rebooted and this app is run it makes the avaya splash screen freeze and then reboots the phone. Every time. Please fix.
Cool app for Aura
Gives me full control over my communications. Can make and receive voip calls. Can redirect calls to my mobile and make calls from mobile that appear as work extension.
Over half the time will not connect or you can not retrieve VM! Seriously????
It works but it needs improvement fast! I compared with MyPBX from innovaphone. For example: 1* more advanced options to improve battery life and general settings. Wake up timers when receiving calls so it doesn't drain the battery? 2* faster bootup (remove the intro screen, it takes way to long compared to other products on the market. 3* the directory filter is not a bad idea, but it does not work for example on my HTC one. I just get no results. Easy favorite tagging and viewing ??
I understand the user need for the dropdown option to local contacts. However, it would be an improvement to have the app point to a specific local contact group. The user could then develop a group for business contacts only. Also, option to block access to local contacts currently does not work.
It keeps crashing down without a warning. It just stop working.
Does not open on LG V10. Had no problems with my Nexus 5.

Why does a corporate app for phone calls require my personal contacts and personal calendar to work? Even if I decline those permission requests it will not work without them. Unacceptable
