Avast Battery Saver

Seriously the best app ever. My battery used to drain very fast. I used to charge my phone 4-5 times a day becoz i use it frequently. One of my friend recommended this app to me & I installed it and I m fully satisfied with no complaints. Saves a lot of battery. Now 1 time full charge goes around 7-8 hrs compared to previously 2 hrs. I installed DU battery saver seeing the rating, reviews and no. of downloads but it sucks. Avast is the best. All other battery apps should learn from this. Thanks to the whole avast team. Gave a new life to my battery.

Works for just about everything, except Youtube, which just before google pushed their latest android update for Samsung Galaxy Note 5, worked and would show up as something that could be stopped. Youtube is a huge battery drainer, and now it doesnxt show up in Battery Saver at all. I can force stop it manually, but I donxt get why it should be like that. I'll remove this review and give something more genuine when I get an answer for the cause.

♢ The grant permission setting screw up my language switch bar on my keyboard. It was stuck to whatever language I was using when I granted permanent permission. I had to deactivate it. Not everyone is using English 100% of the time. My language have some spesiall letters. ♢ Also: Why is Avast Battery Saver using over 10% of my battery power ? According to the phone battery usage

Ive had this app for about 3 weeks now and I find that it takes my phone 2-3 times longer to charge, phone drains faster due to the app it's self and the profile sections switch on their own. When I'm next to my wifi it says I'm not in range. And I bought the year subscription. Not impressed.

I have tried three other battery saver & ALWAYS come back to Avast. I have a samsung galaxy s4 active and with all the built in apps that I can't remove, my battery lasts two hours with wifi. Til I can afford $700 for a new cell, I'll keep using Advast for EVERYTHING!

Used to be great. The last couple of updates have destroyed this app. Now it locks up my Samsung after killing about 2 apps, quits randomly while killing apps, and sends my phone temp through the roof. Such a big company you would hope they'd notice but its been atrocious for about 2 months. Delete.

Works like a charm; almost doubled my phone's battery life! Only drawback is that the profiles only allow you to choose one wi-fi to activate in the presence of (pre-2.0, at least); would be nice if you could set up the Home profile to activate in range of your mom's wi-fi, your dad's wi-fi, or your grandma's wi-fi without having to change it every time, for example.

The most buttery smooth animations since timely on KitKat... Sadly it requires accessibility access, so I guess I won't be getting the full battery boost that I'd want. Anyway, good app, I'll see what it does for me, but I usually keep Wi-Fi on always and also keep my screen brightness pretty high. Five stars for the buttery animations.

It's saves battery life, when it shuts apps down it doesn't keep them from reopening and running when not being used. Also it's now causing a settings failure when I use it. Disappointed Avast is better than this or use to be.

Great app It is sooooo cool and it will Save u so much battery life, clean your storage, scan for threats even if it's not from the app itself. It will also show u how to lock apps, WiFi Hotspot, WiFi speed and much more. My recommendation is to download this app!!!

I had previously rated this app with 5 stars. Downgraded it to 4, due to having to constantly grant accessibility permission for it to work. It did not behave like that in the previous iteration. Please correct. I am a big avast fan

I just started using this battery saver after a few years with Battery Doctor. I'm used to much more control or what's happening Avast is providing. If birth control I haven't found it yet but we'll keep trying. Will update my review at that time.

This app doesn't extend battery life appreciably and all the advertisements make it look more like a supermarket tabloid. Avast's old antivirus is still very good and I will only be updating the definitions. Nothing else. As to THIS app...bye bye.

This is awesome! This has fixed a problem I was having. My display settings weren't allowing me to adjust how bright or dim to put my tablet. I wanted to dim my light on my tablet and it wouldn't adjust but some how this app corrected it and now it lets me adjust my display light. So it was auto set on bright, which was using up my battery but this app allows me to dim my tablet which will help me save my battery.. not sure what was wrong with my tablet but this fixed it. Thank You Avast, your apps really do help my phone and tablet.... ☺

I gave it a 3 cuz I hate when I turn on the accessibility feature and use my messenger it says every single letter and period And comma and such I type! It drives me nuts and will not turn off any other way But turn off the accessibility feature again. Then I lose some automatic features. Please fix this problem for an LG E980. The app works good other than that. Thanks

In general usage, it works. It will brutally shut down processes, and you will get more battery life. However, some things it does are suspect. Before installing, I was very familiar with how far my last 15% would stretch. With ABS, it goes way faster. You'll be offered battery saving options, and if you choose none, the last 5% goes in seconds. But then you plug in and discover that you actually have 11%. So what's going on? I suspect ABS misrepresents your true battery levels in order to make you think it's preserving your battery when it isn't. I'm also removing it because, despite whitelisting apps such as BBC iPlayer Radio, I cannot listen to streamed audio with the screen off (for more than the audio buffer length, anyway).

From 1 to 10, 7 drained my baterery in 2 hours. I don't know save baterery life or drink a lot of energy..... Tell me what happened please.or solved asap the problem to rate 5 star and purchase year subscription

Asking so many permissions and doing things like breaching into settings which I haven't granted is likely to not save your battery but take confidential data. Most fucked up battery saver app.

Uses ALOT of battery % to oppetate. Slow app & animations are a waste of time & battery. Only thing it's good for is to keep wifi on 100% of time if u set it that way.

Wish it were as aggressive as most of my crappy bloatwear. Sorry!! Update: apparently, your suggestive PORN apps are QUITE the match for my bloatware. Don't worry about me going AD FREE. In fact... Don't worry about me-period.

Update* seems to do nothing now, apps are still open and doesn't even try to close others. WILL REMOVE AND MOVE ON IF NOT FIXED SOON. Was really good, but now it's slow

Good app. I took star away because although I can kill the apps on the battery saver, they don't stay down. 5 minutes later they are all up again. :(

Not only did this Avast app save extra battery life it optimised my phone so it went from 1-5 Fps to 30-60 Fps. I had no idead 12 unused apps were still on!!!

Works very well. Minus two stars for irritating ads for Avast products even after paying subscription fee for this app... they pop up after EACH screen wakeup.

App is good. It's interfering with Wi-Fi. My WiFi switch on and off by it self when this app is there. I cannot control WiFi switching. It is switching on automatically. Plz fix this​ in one plus 2 mobile.

Only should have to grant thee app permission but once and once only but finding myself giving it permission up-to three times a day... Please do something about this.

It works great but too many ads.Please introduce automatic app cleaning to clean apps without touching the notification icon and please add profiles for turning mobile Data On or Off

I mistakenly bought the upgrade... When it says no ads it doesn't not included ads for other Avast products... Don't waste your money.

There is a simplistic aura about it and for many, that is perfect. I'm used to battery apps loaded with options and such which in turn burns up your phone performance battery wise. BUT IN ITS DEFENSE, I ALWAYS DOWNLOADED A SHOPPING CART FULL OF APPS WHENEVER I GO TO THE APP STORE. IT WAS THIS C..... N M.... R THAT WAS DOING IT! I LOVE AVAST. I GOT ALL AVAST APPS!!

It works great and all but there should be an option where you can choose to switch off app notifications on the status bar displayed on Charging Booster screen. I clicked on one of my Facebook notifications and the app just skipped my lock screen. Please fix to ensure users privacy !

It worked brilliantly till some days after downloading but now it do not stop apps properly.Now it stops only 1or 2 app at a time.Please fix this!

It's pretty good at closing apps that I don't need open or that I am not using! It constantly saves my battery and I have noticed my battery staying charged more because of how it has been working with my phone.

We need a setting in Profiles like "Keep Wi-Fi on while playing music" but with Bluetooth, because everytime the screen is locked the Bluetooth is turned off ... Which obviously doesn't happen with the profile disabled

Intuitive and seamless operation. Amazing how many apps may be running in the background at anytime, but now I have additional control over them. Non-invasive ads are the icing on top of a great app!

Screen saver clock has no dot between the hour and minute. If you fix I will give 5 stars

It works. Phone was overheat now fixed. Had other shut app doesn't work. Highly recommended this app.

if it weren't for the absolute "BATTLE" trying to get past the battery saver to use the phone when charging I'd give it 5 stars, but as it is with the fight getting past the system and putting your keycode in in the 2 seconds allowed is nigh on impossible. Its good for telling me how low my battery is in number form but not much else...Im not sure if its a fault in the system or my...internet history...but it does not tell me how long my battery will last for and it does not save my battery...this can be very inconvenient when im in the middle of jacking off- I mean studying... or when Im looking up rule 34- I mean Issac Newton's 3rd law of gravity...ya...thats right....im totally not looking at porn or anything...Jk (just kidding) but the problems still remain...oh whatever...ill just not send this comment...and I can say lots of things in the extra space that no one will know about because i'll not send this message...THE CAKE IS A LIE!
