Need to update for Jelly Bean

Dropped hunters of dollars on a piece of equipment. Now you have to spend more money for the app. I'm going back to fluk. Sale rep. Said it was wirelss. Didn't in form me I had to spend hundreds more & buy an app to make it wireless.

Rediculous. Spent tons of money to get connected, now you are asking me for more for a subscription. This gadget was 200 bucks!! Done with field piece. No support for refrigeration techs. Do not buy.

This app is just like other crappie apps.. These people don't think about refrigeration techs just this hvac typical crap.. How about you add cases, walk in coolers, walkin freezers?? Have some respect for us refrigeration techs.... Unbelievable 2017 and clueless on refrigeration techs Just tried it on a package unit. Went on to the roof of Enterprise synced jl2 to my Sman. Saw readings pressed save and at the end of the job went to create a report and it says nothing saved. From the roof to the ground floor was 20 feet away and no more connection. This is not worth the money very generic and crappy reports., no graph on superheat just look at the gauges while your infront of your Sman.

This requires a subscription after buying it... would not have purchased had I known

Very disappointed and unhappy. I have a very large amount of money invested into their tools. I have a $250 meter already from you and should be able to manually enter the amps and volts into the app but you want me to spend that much or more on another meter. The app won't work on my phone and am now forced to tether my tablet to my phone just to use the app. I'm using a Moto g5+ running Nougat 7.0. The JL2 wont connect and forces the app to restart. I called the developer and got no solution. I even offered to bring the phone to them since they're local and gotno thanks we have simulators. I got the app to work on my phone 1 time and that's it. App should not always need internet to work. Sman 460 and sdp2 keep dropping out and reconnecting. Need to be able to add more than four pictures taken a report. The troubleshooting aspect of the app is marginal at best. The BTUs are calculated on the sdp2 but not in the app. The app also doesn't calculate the cfm per ton even though it has all the info it needs. You can get more info and better diag help from Wayne's Brain online for free and not spend over a thousand dollars for this equipment.

Can"t enter my Canadian address to purchase subscription for Joblink...my two months free offer does not apply when I go to pay, will my credit card be charged automatically every year now?..not impressed

I think it is a rip off .I bought thousands of dollars in equipment and now have to pay for app......and all along it never said app would cost.....that is amazing

junk don't buy

I thought today is a good day to get a new manifold so I went to a local supply shop and $460.00 got the new sman460 wireless. Wow how misleading wireless is misleading yes it's wireless but you have to have the (HG3 fieldpiece) it's only thing it's wireless compatible with. And to use the app you have to buy 200.00 (JL2 JOB LINK) clearly and conveniently noted on the box (Not included) so for almost $500.00 you get bamboozled

They forgot to say you need to buy a $200.00 jl2 transmitter to do wireless

I like the interface and having the data in the palm of my hand, but the app doesn't work unless you have Internet. That's really a key element when I work in a rural area. This needs to be fixed.

It sucks..... The app becomes useless.. Also would be nice to be able to print the info on my wifi printer in my truck......and also have an app for a laptop where it would be easier to enter all the info on

1st. Wifi. We work in basements . Why is there a constant need for a cloud connection. That needs to be sync when we can. We work in basements and might have no cell connection for freons sake. 2nd Performance history and working graph. I had a system hunting yesterday. Wrong orifice. I want a working graph on my app to see and show the customer and record. 3rd the seer and eer are way off from equipment history I seen with coolhomes. 15 eer on a 8 eer condenser??? Needs a version 2.0 joblink.

I don't need to check it. I know I don't have internet in rural areas! After seeing that message for A YEAR since I invested in the SMAN400, JL2, and SDP2, and seeing several useless updates such as micron reading (not useful to see when you're in a crawlspace or attic), I STILL CAN'T USE IT AT HALF MY JOBS! So I finally bought the Sporlan Smart Service tool. I just want to see pressures and SH when I adjust an indoor TXV without needing internet!

I would 5 star this but its pitfalls are you have to have a data connection and you have to add all the information just to see it per job and what's with not be able to edit your parts fix that plz

Works great but I need the updates for the electrical metering. I bought the products now where is the software.

What's the point guys? I use all types of different fieldpiece equipment from sman460's to your multi-meter and this hill guy talking about it being convenient not needing to walk back and forth between the ahu and condenser...? The one thing you can do is login customer contact information come on Fieldpiece everything else you put out has been great except this

Make it work for the Galaxy Tab lite.

I like the ability to be able to walk back and forth between a/h, condenser or make changes and see live results. Would give it 5 stars if it was not required to enter job information first, or give an option to add it by computer the day before so the time isn't wasted in the field

Jl2 and App is useless unless you have Internet. Fix this and I would rate 4 Or 5 stars. I need to be able to use this in spotty or no connection.

Awesome and professional it just keeps getting better, thanks guys. I literally have called these guys with ideas and within weeks they added these options to the app! This is an awesome tool with unlimited possibilities.

Wish Refrigeration units would be added. I work on walk ins and grocery. So far, all I can do with this is strictly HVAC. Are there plans for Refrigeration?

I really want to like this , I am In enuff area with spotty coverage that I can't even. Use the app, Internet is required to use app. Also way too much info "required" to use the app! Customer name, equipment info, ha! I want to open app see info if I'm inside say adjusting a txv its 100deg out have 8 more calls I really don't care about adding that info

If you are in an area without cell phone coverage, this app (and every reason you bought the JL2) is dead in the water. It MUST connect to the internet to open, therefore it cannot access or save live measurements. In rural areas, cell coverage is hit or miss. There is NO GOOD REASON why I shouldn't be able to see my SMAN data on my phone or save it locally to my phone in rural areas. The app and the JL2 are really nice ONLY in areas you have data service. PLEASE FIX this crippling limitation!

I love the concept but we need to add user inputs like the iManifold has. I need my field reports to have all the information on them to show the customer and right now i dont have an sman4 sdp2 or the job link transmitter. I will get those in time but please make the app more user friendly. More people will use it.

This app is very useful to me when troubleshooting refrigeration/ A/C problems. You can walk away and still be watching the pressures.

I think the app is much better than the manifold app. Once im connected live measurements are rolling to my phone, unlike the time consuming set up process on the imanfold. Very nice and will only get better over time

It's ok, would be a lot better if it would show microns. Also the range is pretty bad and if your screen times out it disconnects and has to reconnect to the device. They say there is updates in the works but we'll see. As soon as it improves I'll update my review.

Do I have to have the sman460 with the Bluetooth capabilities to connect to the app the description is vague on the instructions on how to connect to fieldpiece device

It's a nice start, but would it be possible to get the micron gauge to show up on the job link app?
