Autodesk ForceEffect

So cool to tinker with! 4 levers (solenoid swing/spring arm;) & many many more ideas (configurations ect). The learning curve is about 2hrs of serious study.. I.m 75% thru!;)- Buttt-wtf? Where'd my motor go???? :) that menu wont slide out anymore!;).. I.m so close. .. maybe 2hrs more. heehee. Worth every second! ☆App only needs a naked hottie to slide out.. then 6* app! ;) just 1hottie isn't 2much 2ask4 devs...1! Short dirty blonde-5'2" 115lb green eyes. With actuator panties on... clikclikclik!:d

Length & angles don't always change when i type them in, on LG Gpad I can't change the units because the tablet has no built in menu button and that's the only way to reach that specific menu, but on my phone (s4) the units work fine. Sometimes locks the length of 1 member when I'm trying to adjust from their joint.

I would be interested to know if this is well proof tested. I have been using it for only a short time and have already seen some wonky results. It would be nice if Autodesk would give some guidance on good practice for model making and some pitfalls that can give undesirable results. I notice that the report was not formated the best for a printer. PDF option? Regardless, I like this app a lot, I just caution that you should always do some quick checks to prove your model before you accept any results.

As with most Autodesk products, it is junk. The settings "gear" is missing and I cannot change to Imperial units. I am in the USA. WTF is a kilonewton?

The program is very good, the only problem is that it crashes after 10 seconds ALWAYS crashes,(Note 2 10.1 os v4.0.4) is my andriod version is the problem or what ?

This app would have made the last 15 years of my life soooo much easier. Absolutely simple and brilliant to use. And the fact that the dev has made it available for free has definitely won them my undying gratitude and support.

It does have a few bugs and glitches which could do with fixing to be perfect. All those submitting bad reviews because of lack 'settings' = idiots. Long press the recent apps nav key (looks like 'stacked paper') whilst inside the diagram.

It's fantastic application. Thanks for your efforts. It's great.and it's help me in my study.

Could use a UI overhaul

It's rather simple to use, which is good. However even such a simple as setting length of a line isn't working...

How do you change the units?

you can make it more greater if it can draw shared diagram and bending moment diagram and reaction in X and y

but examples are using lbs and elbows. No settings. UI is not intuitive on Android.

This is the best app I know to project your ideas and design in a technical way. It's also really useful when you need to deliver any project related to mechanics and you need an strong but intuitive support to explain them.

Looks like a cool app, but it will not start. It crashes within 3 or 4 seconds of pressing the app.

Running on Nexus 10 tablet with Android 5.01

I couldn't even use this app once on my Nexus 5 running Lollipop, every time I open it, it just crashes. Very disappointing.

Importing of pictures didn't work too well.

Please fix! Otherwise generally good but has been prone to crashing for years. Nexus 7 2013
