Dean Taxis

Hi, this app is working well for me. It's very good for deaf user. Only thing I would like you to add (hopefully in new update) is '2nd drop off' or 3rd if it need.. Sometime I'll like to share taxi with friends, it would be so useful. Cheer.

The app is not easy to navigate. Tracking is poor and doesn't seem to refresh if you stay on that screen. Blueline Taxi app is easier to use but the taxis aren't as reliable so stopped using that. It would also be nice if you could add an automatic gratuity as you can on the London black cab app. I always pay be credit card so never have cash on me when I use the app.

I used to love this app but it's a waste of space now. Every time it tells me that a taxi is 10 - 15 mins away, but when you go to book it says no taxis are available in your area. This happened to me twice just today and I had to ring up Deans to sort my taxi each time. It's a real shame.

Latest update is useless!!! Tracking is centred on you, not taxi and restarts every other time.

Disappointed as i use this app regularly the new update appears to have broken tracking and also searching for a destination does not return any results i hope you guys get this fixed soon!

It could be good if it worked, I get about 5 taxis a week and not managed to book through the app once, I'll keep the app for another week and if I still can't use it then I'll have to stick with uber, I was hoping this would have been a decent alternative to them.

I like this app but you must fix problems with map. Every time when I book taxi from job in Washington wait 15 min.

Use to love this app before it got an update.. doesn't let you track your car.. everything about the app needs renewing again!

Booked 2 taxis through the app. 1 turned up at the wrong place and 1 picked somebody else up!

Used a few times so far with ease.

Great app for a reliable service

Latest update is disappointing. Tracking no longer works. Awkward interface. Find it painful to use. Previous version was better. Hope that the faults are fixed soon.

App doesnt track taxi after recent update

Recommended to my partner. She booked the taxi for 45 mins time. Checked the app when it hadnt arrived and it was cancelled. She called them and apparently they tried to call bit they hadnt. The unhelpful operator then humg up after telling her 'we tried to call, we had no taxis in the area'. I had a similar issue and they called me and were only interested in where i was going. Once they heard it was into the town centre it was the same story. This company is unreliable and should be avoided.

Avoid this company!! Taxi was cancelled without telling us stood in the cold over half an hour with 2 small children

Updated. Generally very good but when it goes wrong don't expect much sympathy

The app is great but the company is not. Twice now they turned up 15 minutes late (on a Sunday morning) and I ended up getting into trouble with work. The drivers dislike getting car d payments as the company charges 10% commission so they always voice their unhappiness to passengers, makes you feel uncomfortable.

Perfect app for an out of towner. Taxi arrived in time, sent message to inform of despatch and driver was very friendly. Will use again next week on my return to UK and everytime I'm. In Newcastle. Easy to use application allowed me to cancel my booking and reschedule to a later time. Thanks!!

Absoloutly rubbish app simple.

Booked taxi for 11pm, 2 hours in advance. Still no taxi at 11.10.. Standing freezing in December night.. Took a black cab instead. What's the point of the app if they can't dispatch cabs on time?

They email you a link to reset your password and the link does not work.

THIS APP WON'T EVEN LAUNCH FOLLOWING UPDATE. **ZERO STARS**.It appears that no one is listening. THIS APP NO LONGER WORKS. IT WON'T EVEN LAUNCH.PLEASE FIX IT OR I'LL HAVE TO STOP USING DEAN TAXIS ALTOGETHER. I've used this app without any problems for 18 months. It now doesn't work after update. Sort it out cos there is plenty of competition for taxi customers in Gateshead. Not happy at all :-(

Now working again but app is now very very poor! Was far far better as the old version before when I was using kitkat! Hope Dean will sort this out asap!

Used to work brilliantly now is not user friendly and it wont find my address just keeps searching.

Supports latest version of android and has extra functionality!

App seems to support Android version 5 now. Crashed when I entered a cc tho.

Yet to book a taxi but the app now boots fine and looks good. Get a taxi in x minutes is a nice feature

App doesn't work on lollipop just wondering when this is actually going to be rectified? Most people are using lollipop now so there is going to be a decrease in people using the app and not through choice - however previously when I used this app it was great - could do with being able to add more trips to the one booking ie picking people up on your way to the specified destination - sort the lollipop issue out please and will five star rate

App not workin now samsung galaxy s4 has had its system update.. very disappointed :(

THIS APP DOES NOT WORK WITH LATEST ANDROID UPDATE. I HAVE TOLD DEAN THIS AND THEY HAVE TOOK NO NOTICE!!!!! Use to work gteat. Does not work now. Rang the office, don't think they believed me. Now they are late....again

On Galaxy Note 4 you can't select a time band? Can anyone help?

Used to work fine until I got Android 5, now it's not supported! Back to using the phone it is then!
