Easy to book, but if you have to call them, staff are rude, taxis don't turn up on time, avoid!

Didn't even open successfully.

Booked the other day and the driver went to the wrong postcode cancelled got another through the operator and again went to wrong postcode system old and needs updating!

Cannot add card for payment and took forever to receive the code.

Since the recent update, it runs in the background and keeps the location GPS ON all the time and drains battery. So uninstalling until that's fixed.

What's the point of an app if it won't accept card as payment option. Also really fiddly to get the location. If they had a good app I would use Street cars instead of Uber but it's terrible

Really easy to use, registered and booked within minutes. Provides live tracking of journey and notifies you when your taxi is outside.

The one time the app worked it worked well and I set up an account and paid via app but all other times it can't find me or won't sign into my account. No response from customer service on account status or if my details can be deleted

Horrible to use and even worse service.

No code received so not able to complete setup.

Verification code never came through so can't set it up!

Absolutely rubbish app and service. App and discount dont work nor the people at the office have a clue about it or how to sort out the problem. Wasted a precious hour of my life.

Code?

Terrible app, really bad service from street cars. They cancelled my booking 10 mins before the car was due to arrive, without any warning or explanation. I had booked the car over 2 hours in advance and it had been confirmed and paid for. Just use a service like Uber instead, and give street cars a very wide berth. Absolutely horrendous company.

Excellent local taxi company which is the firm of choice for both Manchester Metropolitan University and The Lowry Hotel. I have never had any issues with this company and they offer a 10% student discount which is excellent. It is refreshing to use such a local company instead of firms such as Uber.

Sort out your app! Look at all the complaints. App does not work.

I saw many people complaining about the fact that they didn't receive the confirmation code, maybe the reason is because when you enter your phone number you need to get rid of the first digit ( wich is 0 ) since the app automatically adds the prefix +44 , everytime there is this prefix you need to get rid of the first digit from your phone number.

No text with code, slow and crashes. Use uber

Absolutely shite service and shite app. Trying to compete with companies such as uber but lacking in a lot of features including no (working) option to pay by card, no option to add student discount. Had to go to the office to pay where they increased the price and generally inconvenienced me.

Crap App, basically does nothing at all, it just shows u a world map and says looking for an address and just keeps looking.....nothing else happens or works......I think Street Cars should stick to their prompt telephone & pick up service

Pretty perfect! All I would ask for is maybe some discount for booking through the app as you don't need as many call centre staff :-)

Just as described, stopped working

1. Very complex user interface. Keep it simple guys. 2. Registration needed! 3. My email address is invalid. What? I can do a better job than the devs who developed this app... PS: I have never developed an android app.

It *is* possible to use it. If you're absolutely determined to keep trying and don't mind the resulting problems. And the SMS messages it triggers aren't even aware that you've used the app. Scrap it, StreetCars, and buy something decent.

Please add credit card payment. Also maybe discount as you need less call centre staff?

Crashes immediately on Nazis 5

I've tried to register twice via the app now but failed to receive an SMS code so can't complete the registration.
